Dino Age: I like the combination of acoustic instruments like the marimba with electronic sounding drums. This is a really cool effect that is different from what would be expected for the time period, but that’s exactly what would make it really engaging.
Egypt: I like the consistency of the percussion style. The flute melody has me vibing and I think it is very well-written. The water sound effect is an interesting touch that is a nice contrast to the otherwise dry sounds that would fit a more arid environment.
1920s: Wow, this one grabs my attention initially with that sampled voice melodic riff. This one strikes me as the most impressive of all of your tracks and because of that is my favorite!
3007: The obligate future track in a time traveling collection! You keep true to your style and I like the addition of more digital sounding instruments. Overall this is one of my favorite time traveling OSTs that I’ve heard from this jam. You space out your time traveling adventures to contrasting time periods, but they all have that awesome groove and are all really fun to listen to. Great work and thank you for sharing!
Amazing entry! Idea about different periods is amazing, every track has kinda unique sounding. The only problem: sometimes it sounds too repetitive
The music makes me want to learn more about the game itself. Track 3 reminded me of casino levels in the Sonic games. Really enjoyed your take on the different time periods.
Very cute light-hearted vibes overall. Fits both the cover image and story which is a little goofy well. I enjoyed the clean sound selection and the space within each track which makes it perfect for a soundtrack.
Based on the game description I was really hoping for something mysterious and a little spacey, and you really delivered there :) You really gave me very distinct aural worlds to travel through, and I found myself being taken away somewhere new with every track. I don't think I could ask for anything else from VGM than that, especially for the genre you placed the game in.
I would have loved to have more context about the game to imagine it better while listening to the soundtrack :( However, the story of Vivian and the names of the songs already give me a good understanding of what each track is about :D
Nevertheless, I find it quite enjoyable; the rhythm complements the gameplay of a mysterious, small, and fun-to-explore game.
Nice chill beats. This was a pleasant listen. Thanks for making and sharing.
Pretty cute! Might have been interesting to also pick up the era a bit more in the composition itself and not just in the instruments, but I did quite enjoy the tracks themselves, especially the 1920s one.
Unique. I like it
Nice electronic vibe! Well done!
Great work :)
