Description
The player is a doctor that has developed a way to jump into the minds of patients and fight whatever ailment the patient has from within their world.
From Within represents when the doctor jumps for the first time into a test subject, and makes a small adjustment to their internal rhythm.
Wake Up represents a comatose patient where the doctor has to stimulate and activate the brain.
Drug Fueled Psychosis represents a patient that should be beyond saving. The doctor has to fight the overwhelming amount of pressure and noise in order to save the patient.
The synthapella version is the same track but without the aggressive kicks
Message from the artist
My take on the theme didn't got exactly as planned, as I found it difficult to stick to the heartbeat rhythm while trying to add twists for story reasons.
Track 3 is a banger, and I love the buildup of track 2.
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
The doctor jumps into the minds of patients, and the music represents their world in their current state.

This is what i needed !
wake up was my favorite!
Good job Frib :D
Love the creativity of your compositions, very original soundtrack!
Wake up my favorite so far!!
Amazing job!!!
The concept of your game is fun :) Great contextualisation with the bips in the opening!
Wow terrific mood in Wake up! :0 and again in the first track, those bips leading to that agressive noise wall! It expresses the pressure that tou have to face very well.
It's cool that the last track could play like before a final battle where the previous track then brings the agressive synths.
Nice sound overall :)
Thank you! :D
Good... this soundtrack took me by surprise...
The Mind Doctor is a great introduction to tell the story of a mad doctor who learned to treat ailments in "exotic" ways. In this track, his greatness sounds, in front of the human body and... I LOVE these transitions from a cardiogram to music... Heh)
Wake Up - "Wake Up... wake up... wake up..." I can feel the frenzied madness going on in the patient's mind in this track... that's cool! Drums, crazy guitar, percussion and extraneous ambient noises - all this creates a feeling of madness. The true madness that can only originate in a person's head...
Drug Fueled Psychosis - can I say it again? This transition from the simple sound of medicines and chiptune to synthesizer madness is GREAT! The influx of the same madness, confrontation with the psychosis of the patient, synthesizers, local dynamic similarity of metal, orchestration and... all this together? cool!
Your soundtrack for me is one of the most memorable soundtracks from all this jam, heh) As a fan of such an experimental sound, I am very pleased! Thanks!
Thank you! Glad to see that it was memorable :D
Oh dang, I love the use of the heartbeat monitor beeps! I'm getting some infected mushrooms vibes from your music xD Very fitting for all the psychosis going on
I think overall, your arrangements are very fun and exciting to listen to. One of my biggest gripes actually was the over-compression going on. I'd like to prescribe some more headroom to your mixes before going so ham on that limiter xD
My personal favorite was 2 - Wake Up. I could easily imagine that coming from some chaotic intense surgery game. Great job!
Thank you! And yeah, about the mixes, you got me there :D Glad you still liked it though!
Super cool concept! Track 3 really is banger, for EDM stadiums, hiths reeeeally hard!
Great work)
Thank you! Hitting hard was the intention :D
The concept is awesome! I LOVED how the beep of the machine became the piano, that took me by surprise but it's so damn thematic, and keeping it as the beat all song. Nice job! Wake Up & Drug Fueled Psychosis slap hardcore! I'd say chill bro, but I don't really want you to!
Great work!
Thanks! I don't really want to chill either :D
Great work!
Yo I LOVED this! I think your concept is amazing and the way you tied the music into that concept with the heart rate monitor beeps and just a SAVAGE soundtrack for each type of patient is not only epic but incredibly clever. Drug Fueled Psychosis is a masterpiece. Well done!
It's like a DOOM soundtrack for a psychic doctor.
Thank you so much for listening and for your kind words :D
Crazy cool sound design and grungy aesthetic. I agree with others that the piano in the first track is a bit to harsh, but I do love this unapologetically dirty distorted sound. The kicks in Drug Fueled Psychosis are so good. Great submission!
Thank you! Very happy to hear that those kicks are appreciated :D
Good lord, this is intense, everything is super stressfull, sometimes even too much I have to take a break. First track I would not hit soo hard on the piano notes but it kinda works, no idea but if that was the effect wanted if yes, you nailed it, i'm stressed now XD. oh nice transition from piano notes to square note beep
Haha yeah, tracks 2 and 3 are pretty insane :D
Agreed on the piano in track 1, it should've turned more gentle as the track progressed, like how track 2 goes from reverby slow noisiness to more speedy crispyness, and track 3 from distorted intensity to stable calmness.
Thanks for the comment! :D
I really like the heartbeat motif you used in every song it was a very unique take on the theme.
Thank you! :D When I came up with the idea, I thought it would be a creative way to tie things together, but in the end it was too limiting for me to really expand and make better use of it
The unique mood and innovative opening to the tracks really complimented the idea you had for the game. Truly excellent work.
Thank you! :D
I really love the bizarre mood of this OST and indeed 2 and 3 are fire. You did a great job
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :D
