Description
My idea for this theme was to have someone slip into a lucid dream, only for it to slowly degrade and turn dark as they lose their grip and dark thoughts seep in.
• Slipping Between Realities - The title screen music. It's designed to loop.
• Dreamscaping - The first level where the player can do anything. Flying, exploring, and taking in the beautiful scenery of their dream world.
• The Creeping Unease - The second level where the player has now lost a lot of the freedom they had. The environment starts to become less inviting and more dark. The music aims to be lo-fi ambient but with a sense of unease.
• My Sleep Paralysis Demon - The final boss. A wall of sound heavy metal and synthesizer track. This track was designed to loop after the intro's distorted fade in.

OH, IT'S TIME FOR CREEPY COVER ART
I do not know why, but this soundtrack felt to me like a more melodic version of the soundtrack for the first Quake, heh... (Especially the beginning of My Sleep Paralysis Demon. It's literally a screensaver from the main theme of the first Quake, lol)
Overall, I liked it very much. The fourth track is GORGEOUS

Ayy, we had a similar interpretation of the theme haha! I thought the first two nice ambient tracks were setting up something survival horror but then "My Sleep Paralysis Demon" hit and now I have a bazooka in a showdown with that guy in the cover holdup.

This is a really good entry! I love the first track, it is so atmospheric and calming, but there is definitely a hint of the darkness of the second half of the album in there. The final track is great as well, you can imagine some horrific demon staring through you with that fantastic intro noise, and the rest of the track is so hard-hitting and raw.
Unrelated to the music, I really like the cover art! Great job overall!
A cool OST and a cool take on the theme. My fav song was number 4 with its big chuggy guitars. Great job!
My sleep paralysis Demon was really loud compared to the other songs. I know it was meant to be that but like it was REALLY loud compared to them I had to turn down my volume.
I think just lowering the volume of that track a just a bit would help a lot.

The cover art is really nice to look at. You've got a good sense of atmosphere in these tracks, even in the more simple sounding tracks like Dreamscaping. It's also nice that the tracks are made to loop which creates a lot of flexibility. My favorite track has to be the last one, "My Sleep Paralysis Demon" is a banger.
Very interesting approach on the theme! "Slipping Between Realities" is so haunting, I liked it a lot. "My Sleep Paralysis Demon" is a total banger, a very good boss theme, I hope not to face that guy in real life haha. Great job!
