Description
In my mind I have image of some kind of adventure-like game where you are exploring past of the person which means a lot to protagonist (with help of the music box).
I used Reaper :)
Message from the artist
My first Jam ever!
Was really exited about this one :)
Also I wanted to say: never forget the closest to you people. Say something good to them right now! Make them smile! It's a really precious thing…
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
Well...
To be honest, I decided to write this music when my Granny passed away right at the start of this project. So it's realy personal... You can say that I (as protagonist) dive into my world of river of memories through the music box.

Is this your first jam? Good job! Very deep idea and... honestly? Your soundtrack made me cry.....
Thank you
First jam! My friend recommended to participate.
Thank you! And sorry for making you cry…
I loved the music box you used!
Congrats on your first jam! I hope you had a lot of fun!
Definitely!
Thank you! :)
this is really beautiful and emotional. the fact that you dedicated this piece to your granny really speaks to me. often times i take things for granted, but as often as i can, i try to put things into perspective and appreciate what i have now. this is a beautiful dive into your river of memories. thanks for sharing this with us, and thank you for reminding me to cherish those around me <3
Aw, thank you so much! :)
I'm really glad that you enjoyed it🙏🏻 Reminding something to people is a very important task I'd say! We're forgetting so many things around us every moment…
Really beautiful piece! I loved the tempo increase near the end. It felt really organic, and I actually really liked the artistic choice to not build with it, but just commit to the atmosphere.
Powerful work, fantastic job~
Tempo increase was like a river stream in my mind – stronger flow. So glad you liked it, thank you!
Beautiful song and touching tribute. Sorry for your loss. This is probably the most sincere and heartfelt track I've heard this week. I recently lost someone too and was working through that in my music. Wishing for peace for you and your family 🙏 Thanks for making and sharing.
Thank you so much!
The best thing we can do is to perpetuate them in something eternal like music. Also I can say that writing for me was some kind of healing… Hope that it was same for you!
This is a really beautiful composition, I found it to be very nostalgic. Good Work!
Nostalgic indeed, thank you!
Very sweet, gentle, lovely album. You put your emotions into it and it shows. Sounds great too , very simple yet powerful. Well done !
Thank you, glad to hear it!
You definitely can say that I put my emotions into it :)
Such an enchanting and beautiful waltz. Really intriguing structure and a so loving and petite atmosphere. Very well done!
Thanks! :)
Really Pretty composition! It's very atmospheric and works very well for the theme. I love the harp and the voice. Sounds Great!
Thank you!
I'm glad to hear that you like it! :)
that is the weirdest looking FL studio screenshot I've ever seen, How did you make it look/behave like that ?
As for the song, it's gorgeous, easily one of the best things I've heard from this jam thus far. Stunning minimalist atmosphere and gorgeously put together <3
Oh, this is Reaper with FL Studio theme!😄
Thank you so much! To be honest I didn't even hope to receive such good comments🙈
Because there is so much good music by every single person!
Beautiful composition and sentiment. Very nice piece.
Thank you! :)
This is a wonderful track! The melody brings up so many emotions. The selection of instruments is brilliant and the harmony in combination of the textures used is fantastic. I also noticed the change in tempo which brought some freshness in the part that is less sad. The end is indeed incredible as the melody brings you back to the start. I could listen to this track in loop. Well done!!
Thank you!
That was my intention from the very beginning :) And if you can catch something like this so that means I did a right thing!
Great job on the composition, I can feel a lot of emotion there. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother; I think that processing your grief and transmuting it into art is a great way to honor those who you miss.
I like the choices of instrumentation, and especially liked the ending of the composition. I would highly suggest making a simple video with your composition on it (can just be with the theme picture) and uploading to YouTube and adding the video as a "trailer" (I think it is not too late for that, you can just click "edit soundtrack" on your page and paste the link.) A lot of people may skip listening to your composition because they don't want to download it, and streaming it is easier, and I think it deserves to have as many listeners as possible :)
Oh, thank you very much! I'm glad that you liked it :)
About making a simple video… There is a link to YouTube page. Or are you meaning something else?
And I don't see a “trailer” thing…🙈
I see, I went to your project page, didn't see the link on the submission page.
I think if you go to your dashboard (through the arrow in the top right next to your username), it should show the things that you posted on Itch. Once on that page, there should be an "edit" button that lets you edit the project (this is different than the submission page for the Jam). If you go to that page, there will be a field where you should add your link, called "Gameplay video or trailer"
Oh, I see! Did it!
Thank you again, you are very helpful :)
