Description
Daw: FL studio
Game Name: Legacy of the Crystal
There are three tracks, a song for the overworld, that also serves as the game's main theme. I imagined the game's "inside my world" theme as a sort of mental battle being presented as a real one. So a world that represents one's thoughts. To me the sound represented in the song is incredibly vibrant, colorful, and apocalyptic. Representing a character's personality and internal conflict.
The second song I imagined as both a lead up to a final battle, and the battle itself. The tense intro gives this "point of no return" vibe. That point in JRPGs where you are warned you can't go back after this point. Emotionally, it represents a reflection on the journey, and on what is ahead, before hitting the final chaotic boss theme
The last song, Cathedral, is a sort of melancholic aftermath to the last song. It's sort of an imagination of the feelings the protagonist may feel after taking down their conflicts.
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
As stated earlier, I felt like "Inside my world" would be a unique perspective on a real game. A world, characters, history, lore, artstyle, and of course, musical score, that represented a single human being.
The girl dressed in pink was taken as the protagonist for the game, and the atmospheric look and combination of grass, flowers, fish, bubbles, flying, and all of that felt like a dream-like state that i imagined while writing and producing the music.

The overall production is really impressive. I especially like track 3, with lovely use of synths over the piano lines. Think about ways you could build transitions between sections, as some of the changes are quite stark. Great work :)
loved "Cathedral", especially the ending ! ^_^
Overworld - OH... it was unexpected at 0:57... You scared me) This is a cute track at first glance, which becomes epic from the second half! Cool!
Judgement + Final Battle - Tears For - Interesting + With a good tense atmosphere - Fun + IT'S GROWING - I liked it + Melancholic - I LIKE IT + EPIC!!1!
Cathedral - Tears For - It was... melancholic and a little sad, huh)
I liked it! Thanks for the soundtrack
Pretty awesome. Flowed beautifully. Pumped up to "play" this game
What a beautiful OST, incredible job!
Really enjoyed all the higher-octane heavy synth parts. They've got a sandy texture which I enjoy. That little droopy ending for Final Battle was fun as well.
this is lovely! the soundworld you've created is amazing, and that main theme is spectacular. the drop in judgement also gave me chills. really great work on this, this is a really strong soundtrack <3
You need more ratings, this is great, composition is awesome, mix is great, only in the end of Judgement I would've love the final melody to be more upfront but other than that nothing. You really did create your own thing and i'm all about it, enjoyed every seconds of it. Well done !
This OST is so good! It is very well composed, and the soundscape is quite unique and goes really well with the vibe you intended. Final Battle is my favorite, it is such a banger!
My only super minor gripe I have is that some of the build-ups feels too sudden, specially in the Overworld. But other than that the tracks are amazing! Definitely one of my favorite OSTs so far!
The slight lofi-ness effect that you have on some of the instruments in this soundtrack is a nice touch!
I like Cathedral as a final piece too. Takes all the elements from before and slowly eases the player out.
Favorite Track: Judgement + Final Battle - TearsFor (piano goes nuts here, love the really staccato arps and key changes)
Truly enjoyed this OST!
Love the ostinato in Overworld and the noisy background of Cathedral plus the symbolism of the spacial treatment in this last track.
Well done!
This entry is an absolute JAM! Killer job! From the expertly crafted dynamics, to just the full sound of the full instrumentation, I am in love with it. That final boss battle is one of the best tracks I've heard across everything I've listened to.
Spectacular job my friend!
I really liked how each song had like a major tonal shift at some point! It made each track exciting and epic!
Definitely nailed that crystal vibe!
this music evokes a wondrous world, the massive synth pads lend so much gravitas to your already-emotional compositions. the sound is grand and unified; excellent work!
I like this submission a lot, it's an excellent mix of tracks! The rhythm at the start of the first track is a little disorienting, which makes it sound even better when the other parts join in, and it all makes sense. The second track is very dynamic and has a great build up,and I like the chaotic piano part in the middle; the whole song feels like a journey, and if I heard it in a game I would absolutely remember it and listen to it regularly. The third track feels like a really nice resolution. Great stuff all around!
Wow such an enticing couple of tracks here! They're all so well mixed you'd believe they were composed by a AAA game composer. Favorite has to be Judgement + Final Battle, the track is so full of exciting moments and the crazy fast piano section is *chef's kiss*. Every song sounds cohesive with the next and fits nicely with the theme. Keep making music like this, you've got a knack for it.
This is really really well done! You have so many creative choices in here, and the journey through Judgement -> Final Battle is not only really well done and clearly thought out, but takes us to so many unexpected places! Your instrumentation choices & mixing are also awesome. I would love to hear more of this soundtrack!
So much to like in this. I loved the sound design and cohesiveness of the overall work. Judgement + Final Battle goes hard and is filled with emotions. Cathedral sound so good (I have a bias for melancholy), it is such a nice wrap. Loved it and will recommend.
I love the entire soundtrack. Final Battle's odd meters, fast pianos, and key changes are just insane!
