Description
Atmospheric composition for a sci-fi/cyberpunk game.
Blade runner and vangelis work are both a big inspiration for this project.
Created on FlStudio with Omnisphere 2 and a Rolland Juno Emulation.

How does it fit the theme?
The synths and the melancholy reminds me of Blade Runner. The theremin, the flute or the pads atmosphere is inspired by the compositions of vangelis.

I really like how the first track builds, it give such a nice effect. Also love the Theremin and flute in both tracks, really cool ghostly sound for both. Great tracks!

Cool atmosphere. I like that despite the songs sounding dark, they still have an air of hopefulness. It feels like orchestral music but made with synths.

Oh wow, I really like the synth choices here. That Theremin sound is great and blends well with the other pad. Pleasant listening.

Developer

Thanks ! :)

This is the kind of music I associate with cyberpunk! I also really like the ghostly sounding lead melody on the first track a lot!

Developer

I'm glad you like it! Thanks!

Really cool ambient submissions. I could see these working well in some kind of RTS or point and click adventure game. Great job!

Relaxing ambient... althought "Rainy city" is strangely dancable... Let's waltz in the Rain(y city) ^_^

Rainy City - this is beautiful! I love the harmony. Great use of the theremin (is this part of Omnisphere 2? I use FL Studio and have been looking for a useful theremin for ages)

Artificial Lullaby - those whale song synths are amazing. So much otherworldly atmosphere in here.

I really like your unique take on the theme, not as dark and violent as other submissions here.

Yes I modified the "Theremin's Journey" preset from Omnisphere 2, originally it was made with Rhizomatic Absynth (now developped by Native)

Thank you for your feeback !

What a nice calm and soothing entry, and a welcome break in a contest that tended to produce somewhat grimdark tunes. I like the idea that not every cyberpunk soundtrack has to be this neon-colored frenzy, but some can also be a bit more contemplative. Well done!

Ahah, thank you !

Rainy City: Beautiful. I love that theremin. Right from the opening I'm hooked. It feels very lonely. But in a good way.

Artificial lullaby: This one feels nice. It feels like being cradled in calmth. I like the backdrop of oscillating sound too.

Even though I like the backdrop in artificial lullaby better, my favourite is Rainy City because of the theremin. It's beautiful how it echoes into the void.

Great work!

I love theremins!

Didn’t expect people to try and go for ambient music with this theme, but it really does fit the often-times dystopian settings of cyberpunk worlds really well. Great to hear vangelis is an inspiration, and you can really tell the sound is there! Really pleasant sonic textures!

Unfortunately, there seems to be a typo in the streaming service service link.

Developer

thank you for listening and the feedback !

Love this more eerie and calm take on cyberpunk! Great synth choices, can't go wrong with Juno!

Developer

Man that whistle synth did give me feels, and the harmony is so beautiful! It's both emotional and relaxing. Very reflective. Vangelis is awesome, may he rest in peace.

Developer

I've just listened your work, it's really amazing I think I can genuinely listen to it regularly!

And thank you for your feedback! Yes may he rest in peace, he is trully one of the greatest.
