Cool usage of Mbira(?).

The mood with these is simply amazing!

Really cinematic! You are really good at setting up the intended mood with your tracks, and the sound design is obviously great!

Tape string , Bit crushed effects and crazy EQ work. Love the atmosfere this creates and the instrumentation is so unikew. Nice job!

Great work! This just gives off a gentle night walk vibe but also slightly creepy like something else is out there. Love the bongos. Did not expect to hear them and they work so well.

Sounds amazing! I like the use of your tuned percussion instruments a lot, and the modulation/detuning on them? Makes me feel like a detective who maybe got involved in a case much scarier than anticipated. This was a nice listen!

I really like the handrum (even if it's a fake one, it's really well done!) it gives your music such a specific vibe.
The three songs are really cohesive yet distinctive. It's the same game/movie but different moment well done!

I love the way Rest made me feel, I never felt safe (in a really, really good way) listening to it - as if the music and the atmosphere was telling me to rest, but in your gut you know that something's watching you. You really managed to capture that feeling extremely well!

Thanks! At first I thought the track would feel a bit too simple, and really struggled to not add something else to it, but at the same time I didn't want to lose that uneasy feeling that I got from listening to it with just three instruments. Glad I could make you feel the same way!

I loved the instrument you used in the main theme! it sounded like one of those round tuned drums and it gave the song a really cool vibe!

Thanks! I actually wanted to use a handpan instrument for this but didn't have any at hand, so I just edited a sansa/kalimba to sound similar to it. Glad you noticed!

I actually do have a handpan! I got it at a thrift store about a year ago

This all has a really nice tone and vibe to it, good work.

mmm, that is a tasty "bell" sound in the main theme. What is it? To me, this is great game music. Very moody, and awesome soundtracking, which I think would add to gameplay rather than take away from it. I really like your sounds too.

Thanks! The instrument I used was a sansa (or kalimba) which I then added a bunch of effects on top and cut the low ends.

I feel like palindrome melodies tend toward eeriness and I love how you leaned into it and made this foreboding atmospheric soundtrack. The album is very cohesive. Good stuff!

Developer

Thanks! I agree that they can feel eerie, so going for a more atmospheric sound just felt right.

Very great texture and ambience, really solid submission.

Nice vibe. This reminds me of a PS era RPG or something.

Beautiful texture and this jams theme fittingly worked in. Kind of a bittersweet and noire feeling you've created (expecially for the first two songs), but I really dig it. Third song got me a bit scared. Great work!

Thanks!
