Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yup!
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
You are a defective clone of a powerful alchemist that has been locked away. But your defect is actually the helpful ability to remove and reattach your limbs! So now you use this new found ability to solve puzzles and escape the dungeon!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
We used the theme very literally, since your use your own body as a weapon (like the arm boomerang) to fight your way out of the dungeon.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Thank you all!

This game was really cool! Moving around and whacking things feels really satisfying. it kind of reminds me of Hotline Miami, though I've never played that game, so I can't make any comparisons lol. I liked the gimmicks behind the switches and had a pretty smooth experience. Cool game :D
Thanks a lot! Hotline miami was our main source of inspiration when thinking about art xd
Great idea! I love how fast you can go while jumping. It'd be cool to see a full fledged version of this concept in the future.
It was fun, the arm coming back if you hit an enemy is a good touch. Punching through walls is funny.
I love the creativity of throwing your own arm :D wild theme interpretation.
Thanks a lot! We decided to use the theme as literally as possible, but honestly we just thought that an arm boomerang would be funny and rode on that idea XD
A checkpoint system would be a good addition. I really liked the arm throwing mechanic. The skeletons always killed me when i got too close to them :( I wasn't entirely sure about what i should do with all the colored switches except for hit them and go find out. Overall though a well put together game with good ideas!
Thanks a lot for the feedback! The level design was unfortunately rushed since the person responsible for it ran into some personal issues mid-jam, forcing us to improvise.
I think the style of the game is quite charming, and the mechanics are snappy! The sound fx are nice as well.
A problem I ran into a few times is when I would throw my arm passed a door, but miss a target, I could get soft locked. I think the music eventually gets a bit repetitive too.
I played the game to the end, it is a short and pleasant experience. Nice submission!
Absolutely cracked. Must play for anyone looking at the jam.
