Summarise your game!
‘Rock Slinger’ is a simple, addictive, game where the player must launch a rock and try to hit the furthest possible target. Gold reward can be used to upgrade the slingshot, allowing the projectile to travel further and hit more valuable targets.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
YOU ARE THE WEAPON, or in this case, projectile. Not only can you cause the destruction of targets, but people too.

Cool looking Artstyle. Liked the upgrades, got funny when i hit the first people ;)
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :D
I thought it was really fun and put together very well. The only thing i thought was annoying was when one of the object slowly rolled down a hill and then you have to wait for it stop before you can continue. Other then that it was great and very funny, the kids also scared me when I first heard his voice. Great Job. :D
Thanks for playing! Yes, we are aware of this issue, I’m sorry you encountered that, it is pretty painful watching the slow roll. We’ll make sure we prioritise fixing this, I’m glad you otherwise enjoyed it!
Loved this, really well polished. Reminds me of truck / stair dismount, but also toss the turtle, and similar games. I agree with another comment - the aiming angle should follow the slingshot.
Really well done!
I’ve never heard of those games, but I’ll look into them! Thanks for your input, I’ll make fixing that top priority. I appreciate your comment!
Rubber Duck squad for life! I love the attention to the little details, the different projectiles were really funny to play around with, and the ragdolls were extremely memorable. I still see them when I close my eyes...
Great entry!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I spent so much time trying to fix the ragdolls, but unity joints are the death of me so they kind of just turn into twisted human crabs (which im not against lol). I’m happy you noticed lots of the small details, we put way more effort into the different projectiles than we probably should have!
The children yearn for carcinisation, who are we to deny them! That's an extremely relatable experience, and when you're working to such a short deadline sometimes ya just gotta let sleeping bugs lie, especially when they're funny bugs.
I spent far too much time sneaking silly easter eggs into our entry, so I fully relate to getting sidetracked by having too much fun. I can tell you the projectiles paid off though, so definitely time well-spent!
This one is great lol. It's oddly relaxing and addicting. I love the character death animations. Good stuff.
If you get your rock rolling down a hill it can get stuck slowly creeping down and never really settling so you basically get stuck there.
Thanks for your input on this! This is something that was annoying me too, I wanted to add a timer that ends a certain time after your first collision as a fail-safe, but left it a little late. I’ll make sure I fix this before the next upload! (After the jam ends)
This is a hilarious game. Great job very addicting!
Thank you!
LOL this one is funny. Great work!
Thanks for the comment! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Well done, but this dice is making me embarrassed,it is always red
Ahah, I think the math checks out on it to always average x1, but whether it is correct or not I guess we'll find out haha
A game I would see on mobile ads xD! I like it but sometimes the angle of the camera doesnt really let me see where I am going, also for the click and drag it sometimes bugs when you click when you have been on air for more than 4 - 5 secs.
Noted! Thanks for the feedback, I will definitely work on that!
Thanks for the feedback. Did you play on the landscape/widescreen aspect ratio or portrait (mobile)?
Really well made game! Plays really smooth. Love hitting the people :) I think the power scaling could be a little faster especially in the beginning. Also, I feel that the camera angle while controlling the rock could be better. The first time i played i didn't see the shop in the bottom right until i noticed your screenshots. Awesome job!!!
Thanks for your feedback! I didn't think about the shop button visibility being an issue, I'll try to fix to it quickly before the jam ends. Much appreciated! What was the issue with the camera? Like, does it need to be angled down further or something else like lookahead?
For the camera, I just felt like i couldn't see where I was going when i was going further to the left or right. Maybe it should be aligned with your direction of travel? I dunno!
I'll work on it, thanks! I've improved on the other 2 things you mentioned so I'll update it again soon (hopefully before the deadline)
Well shoot, build took too long for the fixes. Will have to wait before applying them.
