This game is a feast for the eyes! Adore the different characters. I had a couple of false starts until I realised I had to strategically choose wrong answers to avoid being possessed, while also bringing in enough money to reach the target. Clever balancing act!

My only gripe is that I wish the pacing were a little faster. The characters take a long time to enter/exit and say their piece, especially once you've played 4 rounds like I did.

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! We will definitely give an option for the players to speed up the text if  we continue to develop this idea further!

I love the art and the sound design and just the overall idea and implementation! It looks really polished and unique. The character designs were amazing and I loved seeing their range of expressions.

My only criticisms would be to either allow for a way to more reliably reduce your spirit meter, or an option to close the shop if you get enough money for your goal. Also a description of what the different medium tools did before you started playing would be helpful.

That's some great feedback thank you! We would love to have implemented so much more but unfortunately we ran out of time. I think we overscoped a little for only 48 hours xD

Looks incredible, gameplay is so smooth, very cool concept! I just had some trouble figuring out if I was succeeding or not at first, but great job.

Developer

Haha thanks! We hoped that players would learn while they played as we didn't have time to implement a proper tutorial :)

Amazing artwork!

Developer

Thanks! <3

Really great looking game and tons of polish well done!

Developer

Tysm!!

Wow this is polished!

Developer

Thanks! :D

This game was beautiful, such an insane amount of polish! Really loved trying to walk the fine line between angering the spirits and angering the customers. Would have like to possibly have some way of 'getting off the staircase' and being able to pull out of the séance if I felt like I needed to cut my loses before being possessed or had the customers get angry.

Developer

Thanks so much! Yeah we ran out of time to implement everything we wanted to in the 48 hours xD

This was really fun to play! Absolutely gorgeous art and I really liked the concept. Really impressive that you managed to do this in 48 hours! It feels quite complete and polished.

Developer

Thank you so much!!

This is really cool! Fantastic concept and extraordinary art!

Developer

Thanks so much! <3 xx

Damn bro did you make all this art in 48hours? Also it plays well, feels polished :)

Developer(+1)

Yeah! I can't quite believe it myself xD I've never drawn so much in such a short time before :D

Submitted(+2)

The art is definitely fantastic. What stands out to me beyond that is how cohesive it is. Nothing is left out and I think that's what makes it impactful.

Developer(+1)

That's so sweet, thank you! I'm glad you liked it!

Very well done I like the art and the feel of the game, the humour is quite well done too, I can't believe this was made within 48 hours

Developer

Tysm! The last few hours got a little crazy, that's why there's not much sound in the game :,)

Just super impressive overall. Was definitely guessing most of the time but who cares? Art, style, general concept and execution - all really cool.

Developer

Thanks so much!!

The art is incredible and I must say...Mabel's face after hearing the right answers was.....chilling and was that Dr related to a guy named Hank or Ant-man? The game was great to play as well though, got called fraud a couple of times...was worth it.

Developer

Thanks so much! Yeah I stole the names from Ant Man xD

I am baffled by what you guys were able to do in 48 Hours - I couldn't believe it! Some answers were difficult to figure out when playing though. Art is top-notch.

Developer

Thanks! We didn't get any sleep during the weekend so I'm glad it paid off :D

The game feels like a blend between Reigns and Inscryption. I really liked it, especially the art

Developer

Thanks so much! Inscryption was one of our inspirations even though we've never played it xD
I'm really impressed with your braai game as well!

Submitted(+2)

The art is outstanding, the fact this art was all done and implemented this well within 48 hours is really impressive

Developer

Thanks so much!! It was my partner's first game jam and so I think we overscoped a little xD

Submitted(+2)

My word the art is incredible and the story telling too!

Developer

Tysm!!! Glad you liked it! :D

Love this! At first I wasn't sure how I was supposed to get anything right without using clues, but when I saw the tip that it's actually ok to answer wrong and be a bit of a fraud, it started making sense and was actually a lot of fun to play. The vagueness of the clues were sometimes too vague, but it reminds me of Mysterium so it fits the vibe well. I love the art so much, the character designs and expressions are hilarious and art style is so cool!

Developer

I'm so glad it made sense eventually! We tried to tutorialize it last minute and so it's a bit rough around the edges still. I agree some of the clues are too vague, but for now I can pretend it's just the spirits being unpredictable xD

Insane art!!! This game's art needs to be put in some kind of game jam hall of fame!

Developer

That's so sweet!! Thank you so much!
