Great game! The sounds and fighting were awesome. I really enjoyed it!

To me a while to get a hang of it, but once I did it was really good. Looked really nice, animations flowed together nicely and overall felt really good to play.

I had an issue where I kept trying to sidestep using up/down dpad, the 3d environment and the automatic rotation of the fighting plane really made it feel like you should be able to. Took me a while to realize this is not tekken, and once i learned to to roll through my opponent instead this was not as much of an issue.

Oof what a great game! The sounds were solid from the music to the character sounds it all added up so nicely even the menu was very crisp! The fighting was really cool and felt fluid!

I think you have a very solid game here and if you developed it further with more characters and a small story behind it, it would elevate it even further!

First of all i have to say that a  3d fighting game like this is hard to pull off in 2 weeks time. the animations were very fluid and controls felt sharp. You added  a lot of different moves and even combos. It kinda felt like playing Tekken. I would go with classic healthbars  on top left and right, i think it is distracting to place the health beads around the characters. Btw i played this on keyboard, i think it needs to be played definitely on gamepad. Maybe i can try it on gamepad later. I like the visual style and the music. Characters have an anime aesthetic like Naruto or Bleach. Main menu is cool.

Overall i think it's a pretty good prototype for a 3D fighting game. I think you did a very good job in 2 weeks time. I wish you good luck on your future projects

Streamed this today, think you were watching. Loved the concept, great execution of a fighting game. Weight of the characters felt good. I may have shortchanged the game a bit by playing with Keyboard instead of controller but the controls still felt nice and responsive regardless.

All the mechanics are here which is great, dodge, parry, stance change, special moves in addition to a unique health bar.

Fighting games are something I'm probably the worst however, so I can't give any in depth notes about how well the combat flows, or balance or anything to that matter. So hope someone can give you some insight into those aspects. From myself I can still say I enjoyed the nice package presented

Amazing little entry put together in such time. Once again I feel like the only thing I want is more of everyting. With a little expanding this could be a fully fledged game release.

I assume there is a type in the controls, last special is from low stance, right?

Nothing really to pick apart, maybe the neon light could be toned down on their brightest parts, and the parry moving you forward is a tad confusing for me, at least.

Otherwise well put together, assets are nicely matched in style sfx and music also good.

Would love if one of the attack would serve as the Return key in the “Retry-Main Menu panel” for fluidty of restart.

Very polished and enjoyable fighter. I really enjoyed it!

Very tough - the biggest issue I had was that it wasn't always clear what my attacks were doing. I feel like more responsive animations and definitely an in game tutorial would go a long way if you wanted to go further with this. That said, the graphics were great and I really liked the overall gameplay loop. I feel like this is a really good start to a bigger project!

This game is very well made, and already feels like it has some great polish to it! I'd love to see more of this with expanded movesets and characters as well!

Amazing work. The music, sounds, and graphics feel wonderful together with the complete vibe of the game. I would say that the controls were a bit unusual for me but once after getting a warm-up, it wasn't a big problem. Overall. great work.  You can create it as a full multiplayer game in the future for sure. Cheers

Thank you for the kinds words and your feedback! Glad you were able to pick up the game when trying it out!

Cheers!

The SFXs and music are very good, and the game plays pretty well. I liked the round announcement banner with Arcsys style sentences. I would suggest a visual effect when a parry is succeeded, for a better game feel. Nice work and congratulations.

Developer

It's something for sure will I add in the future for better visual feedback. The game does feel a bit flat in that regard.

Thank you for your feedback and for playing!

I liked the visual design and the character mechanics were quite interesting once I found the control info on the game's page. Did someone on your team build the character models? They look really good for such a short time frame :)

Developer(+1)

They were made by Sabao3179.  A talented artist (:

Thank you for your feedback and for playing!

Interesting concept. I haven't played a fighting game in a long time and it was hard to get to grips with the controls while being attacked so a tutorial mode or combo list or something might be helpful to new players. Also playing on xbox controller I would say was weird due to the fact that the prompts are in playstation, except there was only the menu that showed that. No controls for keyboard (as far as I could tell) was also a little weird to me. I liked that there was 2 stances, but one seemed way cooler than the other one.

Developer

Not having a tutorial is a big downfall I do admit. One of my biggest regrets that I wasn't able to add to the game for the jam. There are keyboard controls but they aren't mentioned in-game because of course, there is no tutorial haha. They were only mentioned on the game page so it's not your fault.  Everything else you've mentioned are valid points and I will try to get those issues worked out.

Sorry for the confusing experience!
Thank you for playing and I appreciate your feedback!

No worries, that's what feedback is about. On our jams we tend to go back and forth between remembering to add a tutorial/controls/how to play and not. I think we should probably keep a list or something haha. Good luck with the game.

Thank you and many thanks for playing!

Wow, this was amazing. impressive for a solo jam. The visuals were wonderful and didn't distract from the combat.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for your feedback (:

Honestly, leaving out the fact that it's a Jam game, the art is very good, the music is VERY good and the game plays really well :) Maybe you could turn it into a full game in the future hahah nice

Thank you for the kind words! I am considering continuing development and publishing it on Steam as a F2P multiplayer in the future. Though the game still needs some more work and polish.

Cheers and thank you again for playing and sharing your feedback!!
