So the screenshots set the expectations high already -the art style is very appealing. But when playing I got even more than I bargained for. I don't run around saying a game is a cinematic experience, but this one was a cinematic experience. Congratulations, amazing jam entry!
Really loved the game! The mechanism is really cool and so easy to understand! It was a cool short fun experience! Great job on this game jam !
Really great experience!! Graphics, story, sounds, gameplay, everything is there. Congratulations for the quality of your game!
Its insane there are localization options in a jam game! That was a fun short experience. I love point n click games and this was no exception :D It would be really cool if there were some kind of sound effects for talking. Also the diffrence between background and moving sprites resolutions kinda bugged me. Other than that i had fun with it well done!
PS: Looks like the font you are using does not support some special characters. Turkish language text wasnt readable because of it :/
Thanks Mr.PDF really appreciate your great feedback and comments. Yes I will need to update the font post jam for those languages with special characters. It was a last minute addition and I didn’t quite get time to get it right. Thanks again!
This is really Impressive, good job :)
Thanks very much 101Studios!
AMAZING! I loved playing this game, it is really stylish, with a great pace and great visuals/audio! If I could give a simple piece of feedback it would be that the character was standing out a bit much from the environment, I don't know if it is the colours or the pixels. But other than that I was really excited to play this game and I wasn't disappointed! Great job, guys, keep it up! <3
And also, thank you for taking the time to make a Mac build. :)
Wow thanks so much for your wonderful feedback Rafunzel and for confirming the mac build worked… I literally had no way of testing it myself and have been waiting to confirm its working :) Good advice on the character brightness as well, I will improve that against the background palette post jam. Thanks again!
Wow! This was awesome. The aesthetic and the music really helped built the atmosphere. Such simple gameplay and was really fun to experience.
Thanks Lukepagca! Was fun to make and glad you enjoyed it :) Appreciate your time and feedback too!
Your game is exceptional! The look and feel was perfect retro style and the sound was seamlessly part of the story. Great music timing too. I grew up when computer games had this kind of look and you got it just right. Nice job.
Thanks so much for your kind comment. That was exactly what I was trying to go for :)
Awesome awesome game. Really impressive. Feels like one of the most complete games I've played this jam!
That’s a huge compliment thanks Mark - so many good games this jam. Looking forward to playing 7 Days of Rain shortly as well!
Really great environments and sound design! I enjoyed all the extra little touches, the gore, and the twist. My only complaints are the small lack of interactivity and the characters feel a little out of place against the high fidelity backgrounds, but overall, great work! Good town name for the genre btw.
Thanks so much hankworx. Agree with you on the interactivity, it did end up being much easier than I was planning it to be, but time ran away from me :) Thanks so much for your time and feedback, it means a lot to me!
Really fun, Love the pixel art style. Audio is fantastic. Overall really good experience.
Thanks very much Introverted Zombie! Appreciate your time and feedback :)
The aesthetics really do stand out!
Thanks SpookyToad!
Nicely done, I love the aesthetics. Its impressive how many languages the game is available in.
I hadn’t thought about other languages until towards the end when a few people were asking me to add it in. Luckily PowerQuest makes it extremely easy to export and import your game narration thankfully. Thanks for your kind words!
This was quite an enjoyable little experience! It felt reminiscent of old 80/90s horror movies (I think, I'm not a big movie guy lol) with great art and a nice atmosphere. The only thing I think could've been improved a little is build up the twist ending a little more, but with the time constraints I can hardly fault you! Very enjoyable game!
Exactly you hit the nail on the head though. If I could get another few days I would have added some more meat around the twist, maybe after the jam :) Thanks for your very positive feedback, I really appreciate it!
I like the aesthetics and environment! The timing and story are great. Everything look complete, thankyou for making this game. <3
Thanks soiiwa for leaving me such a great comment. I am very grateful to you for taking the time :)
Really nice. The wonderful pixel art and foreboding music great a great sense of uneasiness and dread. Nicely done!
Thank you Tyger. Really appreciate you taking time to drop me a positive comment, it means a lot!
Wow ! Really nice game, great story ! Really sweet pixel art !
Thanks Charlesthedev for your kind and supportive comment, I really appreciate it!
Great game. Story is good with a good plot twist in the end. The art is really well done, and overall just a really fun game. Now I really want to make a point and click game myself. The only feedback I can think of is that it's a bit short, but It's a jam game afterall. so thats not a problem.
Great game, Keep it up ♥
Thank you bullfrog for your very kind words. I really wanted to add a little more meat to it, but will have to do that after the jam. Time flies when you’re having fun :)
That was actually one of the greatest pixel art games I've played!
That can’t be true but I’ll take it :) Thanks Twidjet!
a real piece of art
Thanks Purple Panzer! Looking forward to playing your game soon as well!
