Interesting idea to go with 3D. Couldn't work out how to kill the enemies, didn't even know if I had my knife equipped. Movement was nice a quick but would have been nice to have some control in the air.
I can respect the choice to go 3D. The controls were a little hard to use, jumping was quite slow and half the time i'd just get stuck on an egde of the platform anyway. Took me a while to realise that the sword was equipped since there was nothing indiciating that.
Very nice game when i downloaded it i was not expecting that! gameplay is quite smooth and also the addition of inventory items was a good touch. Feel like the shaders could have used a little more work to bring a bit more of the detail out and the jump mechanic could sometimes be a bit weird but very good and fun.
I liked how the game was a 3D platformer. Unfortunately, it was difficult to progress due to the way the platforming worked and how the player behaved when reaching a ledge.
It would have been nice to utilise the sword you get at the beginning of the level to attack the skeleton who's attacking you.
This game has a lot of potential, so well done!
The 3D spproach definitely was nice to see, unfortunately as others have said the game doesn't feel properly finished, and the mechanics itself dont seem to be as effective as I had hoped for.
Once the game gets polished this could be a fun game since not many platformers are made in 3D.
Im sad to say that I felt that the game was not fully finished and as a result didnt feel good to play.
The "F to pick up" only worked occastionally and when it did the prompt remained, more over there was no way to defeat the enemys making the knife practically pointless. There was also no way to leave the game without alt+tabing out and closing it that way practically traping the player in the game.
However i felt that the idea/concept was good, a first person platformer sounds really fun it just needed more time to be polished.
Its a shame the game didn't quite feel finished, attacking didn't work and the controls are a little clanky.
The game isnt really playable. I couldn't attack the skeleton and the "press F to pick up and Tab to open inventory" box kept following me.
