the art is literally incredible omg. Some animations could help and it was a little too hard for me (that might just be a me problem though) but I absolutely loved everything else about the game and I hope you continue working on it after the jam ends

Really amazing game. The art is stunning. I was extremely confused with the controls and almost gave up before finding out what they are on the ratings page. Maybe you should use more conventional controls. The collisions are also a little bit weird.
But aside from that, its an amazing game with a cool story and beautiful art. Well done!
I absolutely love this game. The idea and implementation are just perfect. I did get a bug where what I assume is a moving platform just didn't work so I kept attempting very long jumps over and over before giving up.
It is definitely my favourite game of the jam and I'm a little sad because it looks like a jam winner.
Also, if you don't mind me asking, how did you get so many ratings? I've been scratching my head over my measly 10 ratings. Thanks anyway.
Yeah I kinda realised I needed a WebGL version 5 minutes to the end of the jam right after fixing bugs in the Windows version so I couldn't do anything to make it better but I'm glad you liked it!
Did you try the Windows version? The chefs tend to stay in one place shorter in the downloadable builds.
I absolutely love this game. I'm not that much of a gamer at all and it got me determined and focused on winning.
Also the enemies being able to shoot through walls (which I assume is a bug) created some sort of puzzle aspect to the game where you have to go just close enough to draw out an enemy then run away so you're not shot through the walls but you still get a kill.
Amazing game!
Hey! Yeah I really wanted to add an end screen showing the effect of the spiciness on customers and/or chefs but i just didn't have the time.
I also wanted to add some telegraphing for the chef movement but again, not enough time. Did the pepper spray animation work before booting you to the main menu for you? I spent a few hours debugging that one.
Anyway, your game is amazing and thank you for the constructive feedback.
Yeah. I realised. For some reason, the “python” and “pygame” file pyinstaller gives you when you export your game lose their extensions when they’re zipped. I literally have no idea why. But it is what it is. At least i managed to finish my first game in a state I’m proud of. Thanks for downloading. Ill check out your game if i have the time.
