Lol, Go Herbert Go!

Cool concept with cute characters, levels with increasing difficulty and a pretty funny intro.

Really enjoyed to play, just whished there was a possibility to speed up^^

As a puzzle game is nice, I also share that waiting for Herbert after a while slowed down the pace of the game. I had a problem in the pinte level where I couldn't get the piece needed to connect the bridge, otherwise everything worked.

With a few improvements it can definitely become a complete game!

Great game, really enjoyed playing it! I definitely agree with most of the other feedback. Would love if there was a way to speed up Herbert just a little bit, though I know he's just doing his best.

Some of the interaction with grabbing and placing objects - the stairs and the flat board - were a little finicky at times. The stairs especially. I was also unable to finish the level with the stairs and the broken bridge, as the part needed to fix the bridge seemed to be stuck within the bridge and couldn't be grabbed. I just kept teleporting on top of it.

Those joystick controls worked great though! The moving platforms and the rotation circle were extremely solid, and I could definitely see those tools being used more in future levels. Definitely have some solid tools to build out even more of the game!

That intro was great!

I really enjoyed the game and I hope Jack has a wonderful vacation haha.

Suggestions:

  •  Maybe put the hands and herbert on a seperate physics layer to avoid Herb-Floating. (see screenshot)
  • Or if you don't maybe you could give herb a slap on the bottom to make him move faster for 3 seconds or something

Either way Herb is the employee of the month.

It would mean a lot to me if you'd try my game Protocol PAR-C3L as well :)

This was really fun and funny! Great audio and dialog. The screen went black after the first level, wanted to keep playing though.

Played through the game. Is the bridge level the last one? Although it has pretty basic visuals nevertheless it is quite well implemented mini-puzzle. I enjoyed the relaxed pace of it and had fun with placing platforms for the turtle.
