Didn't get to play too long, but implementing a Crazy Taxi in VR was an excellent choice.  When I stood my head stuck out of the car, so didn't even know there was an inside for like 3 minutes.  Super fun and hits the right arcadiness.  As others stated, great menu room too!

Nice intro scene and nice city environment. You did a great job with all of the models of the city,  other drivers, and the passengers.

I found the starting point of the player was wonky for me. I started with my head above the car roof but later switched to the proper height mid game. Not sure how.

I think it may have just been my driving style but I found my wheel swerving all the way to the right a lot when I was trying to turn left. Then again, I was always trying to gun it at full speed but it did feel like I lost control over the wheel direction for a bit.

Amazed you did this within a week! Great job!.

The Menu room is VERY cool!

Really enjoyed the car driving! Was fun flying around the city picking up and dropping off passengers. I found that sometimes the traffic would bunch up on corners, might have been by my chaotic driving though. Had a great time playing this!

Okay, I'm not even going to lie. I completely Ignored the game's main goal, aka, picking up people. I honestly just drove around the city for a while in this car which controls very nicely with the insanely good music in the background!

Wow that intro screen is AMAZING! I spent 10 minutes walking around the room just checking out all the computers, blinking lights, etc. Really fun but.. I guess it's the Cyber Room asset? Looks great in VR in any case.

Took me awhile to figure out how to drive, holding both side buttons on the Oculus Touch controllers, then using the right/left trigger to drive/break. Once i finally got going things got crazy fast! Traffic is crazy, cars constantly cutting me off or running right lights at intersections! Once I finally found an empty stretch of road the physics of the car got a bit messy when i was going too fast that it would just slide out and i'd spin around until hitting a light pole or a building... but maybe this is how it is in real life, i've never driven a Porsche before :P

I'm pretty sure I know the music track (it's copyrighted) but it definitely is a great song for driving :)

Yes the first room is the Cyber Room. Can look at the window and see the layout of the city from it. Songs are the same sound track as Crazy Taxi. Bad Religion and Offspring. It is copyrighted. The car does have a little drift but tried to make it more arcade feel.

Oh that's cool I just checked out the windows, great work! I also noticed if you go to the back/right corner window the sun starts to go down so you can change what time of day to play haha! Nice little details. I keep trying to play with the computers in the room, they look like fun to throw around :P

Need a little more help on the movement and goals. I keep crashing into buildings and not sure where to go. Looks very nice though!

There is a green arrow by the rear view mirror. That tells you where to go. Have to stop in the green cylinder to pick up and drop off passengers. Thanks for playing.

Like the other commenter I couldn't get the height for the porsche right, so I just drove from the roof. The sense of speed was great and there was a lot of traffic lol. I couldn't figure out where I needed to take the guy, maybe there was a map or something inside the car but I couldn't see in unless I got down on my hands and knees. I did have fun barreling through traffic though! That intro level was a great set piece!

Developer

Ahh, I thought the starting position was working correct. For me it had been working every time. It is not really playable if starting too low or high. There is an arrow telling you where to take the passengers. Can't see it if you don't start in the correct position.

Played PC VR version, lobby looks cool. Controls work great. The most fun is to bump into other cars, poor passengers. Porsche is low for my height, the roof is just in level with my eyes while sitting. Overall solid submission, congrats!

Crazy Taxi but in VR lol

I have not been able to test the apk version as sideloading isn't working for me right now. I think it will run too slow. Was going to turn down render scale if that was the case.

Bugs: The car can get stuck if you crash very hard. Crashing hard can sometimes make the vr rig drop in position. The steering wheel being used with your hands works very poorly. Use the joy stick.

I installed the APK, but it showed up as 2D instead of 3D. I think it may be caused by some checkbox in the "XR Plugin Management" settings, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, just tried the APK version and it only loads the black screen and the rock music.

Developer

Thanks I will delete the apk. I couldn't get sideloading to work so couldn't test the apk. The PC version works.
