cool stuff! it has lot of content. enjoyed it… wasn’t able complete the whole game though. wasn’t able to make that jump in some area of core.

Yep, we tried making some core levels a bit more challenging than the crust, but still tried to make them beatable for the average player. Maybe we didn't understand how difficult finding the solution to some levels actually were.

The graphics are great! The gameplay was fun and cool too, though it was a bit too difficult in some parts. I figured it out and was able to finish it, though. Awesome work!

Glad you liked it! I 100% agree that some of the puzzles in core were too hard, especially the one where you have to jump on the car to make the jump. We had no time to get playtesters at the end so we didn't realize how hard it'd be

I got stuck in the core at some point, other than that it was great!

The idea is to jump on top of the car to make it over the gap, if its the level I'm thinking of. I'm glad you liked it!

Yea I tried that but I couldn't make the jump sadly

Probably just a skill issue xD

Awesome game! The art and music were both absolutely top notch! The puzzles were really fun too! I did get stuck on the same level as the comment below this for a bit but got there eventually.

Mmmm oil

Thanks! I'm glad the art aesthetic we went for really worked out for us in the end. A lot of people seem to have gotten stuck on that level; in the future we should probably have other people playtest each section before we submit.

MMMMMMMM OOILLLL

This was one of the games I wanted to try to finish, cause the gameplay was really good, sadly I got stuck in the screenshotted level, I wasn't sure if I needed to jump the gap, It seems like I couldn't, the graphics and music give it sort of a horror atmosphere, I don't know if i'm describing that right, it was very good overall, Keep up the good work! :)

btw it didn't lag for me in the browser version, using chrome.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! The intended solution for this level was to jump off of the car for a little more height to be able to make the jump, but I think we made it a little bit too difficult overall since we ran out of time to refine the levels near the end.
Also glad to hear the web build worked for you! I think I expected it to be laggier than it was

Really cool graphics, reminds me of HYLICS. The environment feels interesting and fun to explore.

I'm glad you like it! We decided to take a unique approach to the art by starting with a 3d render, then converting each image to the pixelated look you see in-game.

very cool use of the polarity theme that is different from the norm.

Thanks! We tried to move away from just a static polarity element by allowing the player to actively control the properties of their yoyo.

Nothing I love more than oil in the morning!
