Well done, the game is simple and very fun, the designs and characters were beautiful, the game environment was nice and beautiful, in addition to the music was nice, the conversation at the beginning of the game I liked, and the idea of choosing between things to add was good, but in some places the player walking stops automatically, and also when I come to an enemy that I can't get past, but overall a great job.

this game was really fun! I loved how e were helping a game developer make his game and the take on the theme was really interesting!

also if you could play mine that would be cool :)

I really liked this concept. When it was flowing, it felt really good to play.

The catching bug is probably being caused box collider edges getting caught on each other. An easy fix is to increase the edge radius of the player collider, that'll give it rounded edges and that'll stop catching.

The dialouge system felt reallllly comfy somehow and its really good actually because of that! The idea is really cool i just wish there were more options and the levels shorter just to make more of them. There's one lil problem tho remember on the tilemaps to always use a composite collider it is easier more performent and less laggy for your game this is the issue why your character sometimes gets stuck between tiles. Overall a really solid project :)

A cool Game, that feels like a choose your adventure platformer (just with game mechanics)!

I really like the concept and execution of the game and how your team make it function with the story. The Controls are told how they work in a dialog (if you play the second version) but the speed of the dialog could be maybe a little bit faster (but thats more of a nitpick).

In general its a good game, but I got confused a little bit, because there are 2 projects uploaded (I think the first one is a prototype or something). The first one doesnt really explain much and doesnt have the art the second one has (which is much more polished than the first))!

Thanks!
The first one is an earlier version, in case you got curious how it started.

very creative and well done, especially for a first game. however constantly colliding with the ground was annoying, you could fix that by using a capsule collider instead of a box collider. over all I think you have a lot to learn, but also have a lot of potential as a game dev! keep up the good work!

Levels were quite challenging and fun. I like how you give the player the choice to influence the level design in some way. Quite unique! Good first game! Nice work!

It was a good game, the one major gameplay problem was how the character controlled, my momentum would just randomly stop at points and it got really annoying, and the player was pretty fast and slidy, just toning all these down and fixing the ground collision would've been nice. I'm actually surprised the music didn't get annoying after a while, it was good. The art felt a little flat though, but i did think the character animations were smooth. And the theme implementation was really good! It was a fairly creative idea that could've been expanded on further. Good game!

LOVED THE GAME
loved how you fit with the topic by having the dev themself make the game easier when you mess up
the platforming no matter what set of paths you choose was fun
great game

Nice game! The concept was pretty cool, and the choose-your-own-adventure aspect was pretty neat. However, the controls are very slippery. I had a tough time making jumps and I would constantly be stopped by random tiles, causing a little frustration. Despite that, this game had a lot of character and definitely stands out among the crowd. Good job!!

Such an amazing game! The controls are a bit slippery but the interaction between player and dev fits the topic is so good!

This is such a cute game! Despite the rather simple art, warmth emanates from this game.

In some places you get stuck between tiles. This problem can be easily solved by adding a CompositeCollider to the Tilemap.

I liked your idea, that you the dev interacted with the player!
