You have to try the game 10/10

I didnt expect this kind of a game at all! One of the best games i played from the jam!

Great job! It is really fun. would love to see the idea expanded into a full game

i think this has quite a lot of potential

Submitted(+1)

this is the literal best game of the jam!

good job guys!

Developer

Thank you so much!

Knocked it out the park! excellent work, to everyone that made this!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! It was hard work, but we did enjoy doing it. ^^

Submitted(+1)

Really original! A little bit too long in my opinion, but definitely worth the time! You must be tired for not sleeping in 3 days haha

Developer

Yes, so tired, but also overjoyed. Had a lot of fun making it.

Submitted(+1)

Very well polished game, and novel idea. great entry!

Submitted(+1)

Funny dialog, really good art assets. Really well done

Developer

Thanks!

I love the humor and the concept. It sounds and looks great and it is part of the Glitcheon-Universe. What's left to give feedback on? Oh yeah.. How the hell is Angelo the only one, who didn't want to give me the job? I'm not a desk jockey, I swear!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Hah, you must have been trying to get the job. Pro tip: Angelo isn't into that.

Thanks for the lovely feedback. <3

Ain't gonna lie, i don't usually enjoy narrative games but, there's something i LOVE about game dev, it's sound design and you nailed it ! Also the looks are soo clean and fun hahaha ! Amazing job guys.

Developer

Thanks Sina! This is actually my first time working on a primarily narrative driven game, I'm usually in the same boat. We had a lot of fun making this one! Yaen did all the sounds, and he recorded all of the voice acting sfx in just a few minutes. XD It was really entertaining to listen to him cutting and editing them.

Submitted(+1)

this is really great haha! was definitely not expecting some sort of glitcheon prequel, was really fun to play!  good job team! :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks Funktion! We can not confirm or deny if it is a sequel, a prequel, or a parallel timeline. ;)

I got the job!! Haha nice, I totally messed up the second guy, he loved me :D Great idea and definitely one of the best I've played so far.

Developer(+1)

Oh no, you got the job??? D:
To be honest, I really enjoy getting the job. The outcome is really not important if you're having fun. ^^
Thanks for the feedback and encouragement.

Submitted(+1)

Yeah don't get me wrong. I was really trying hard to P** everyone off! But that second guy just loved everything I said. The first one hated me which was ideal. haha

Submitted(+1)

Very interesting game that made me laugh!

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

Really fun and relaxed.  Love the whole look of the game and figuring out what to answer based on their personalities was very fun!  I was able to avoid getting the job on the third try, but I could never not impress the last guy haha.  The music was also really nice!

Edit:  Also just realized the connection to glitcheon, some more lore I see...

Developer

Haha, glad to hear you figured it out well enough. It is possible to make the last guy not like you, but it's definitely tough.

It's a really cool game! It feels a little dragged out, getting the same questions on the same interviewer, and a few more gameplay elements, more questions etc. would've made it the bit better. Oh my gosh, I love the art style and the way it was executed, and the music and sound effects fit very well. Great Game!

Developer

You're definitely not supposed to get the same questions from the same interviewer, I'll look into that. Thanks.

(+2)

I can't stop getting the job D:

Submitted(+3)

Yes hello, I will be over next Monday morning to start at this job that I was meant to flub but, have to admit, would actually really like. If you actually ever do find yourself hiring and you want a game/narrative designer, as long as the interview's like that, i'm in.

Like last year, I was anticipating something awesome from your trio. And of course, you delivered this year as well! Here are some points I love about the game:

  • I love that there are multiple personas that value things differently and show different emotions for different answers
  • I love the jokes in it and how different people react to them (42)
  • The visual style is really cool, I like the stylized look of it and how it feels cell-shaded
  • I appreciate the faces changing with the emotes and all of them being hand-drawn
  • The TV screen is a good addon and feels like a good reference for Glitcheon :)
  • Just the vibe of the whole game is nice and the music goes perfectly with it
  • Vote Greg!

TL;DR, an awesome experience made in a short time with an idea that I could've never come up with

Thank you!
