It all works great, I like the idea, but it's unclear when and why I die. overall that was an interesting game, controls were comfortable.
One of the more creative takes on the theme I've played.
Some of the rooms had me scratching my head for a little while before finally getting it.
I love this game. The theme is spot on and i loved the level design. Good job guys!!
10/10
It workes fine and the mechanics are cool, but right now it lacks feedback when you die, it happens so fast it got me confused some times, I didn't know I had died and didn't understand whay the level was reseting. It took me some time to notice the spikes, maybe make them stand out mor from the background, with brighter colors. well done
More games need rocket jumping lol. I kinda messed around a little too much with that. This was a rather nice take on the whole dying-to-have-your-clone-follow-you kind of game. The levels were quite well designed and made me think. The purple spikes were sometimes very hard to notice, especially in that level where they were right on top of the button which just left me confused as to why I kept dying XD. Having the box float in mid-air when I left it and then rocket-jumping to hold it was very satisfying though lol. I kinda wish it was communicated to the player better since I didn't even know I could do that. Either way, great entry :)
:D
Wow, very cool use of a very cool mechanic!
Tysm!
It's amazing!! The concept of the game is awesome and the level design and puzzles are so great! Had a lot of fun playing it. I also love the visuals of it. Though, you should probably make the spikes a lot more visible because it kind of blends with the background but overall, really fun game! :)
Love the puzzles!
Hey I really like the sound of the doors and also the interprtation of the theme!
Really well made game! I had a blast playing it :)
Thanks!
This was a nice game with an excellent use of the theme. I like how part of the puzzle is doing things in the present that become more useful in the future when your ghost does them for you. The levels were a little quiet, which some background noise or music could've helped with, but I enjoyed the sounds that were there as well as the art. I would love to see more done with this game's concept.
Thanks :)
We might do a finished, bigger, more polished version of the game in the future!
2 of us are on board and the last dude just hasn't responded.
Love it
Short Review: Hard, graphics good, game for brains that are smarter than me (because i'm very dumb)
Long(-ish?) Review:
This game, it had a clear tutorial, with some explanation of stuff, tho I had to figure it out myself that if i walk onto a button I kill myself, because thats how you summon a ghost to do stuff for you. The gun knock is pretty fun, i liked just spamming the down arrow so i can fly. Fourth level is when the stairs started to come, because I couldnt get to a platform, but I found out if i hold up arrow more then I can get there? Maybe some sort of an analog, cannot really tell. That doesn't really matter though, as the cool pixelart graphics that made the game look kinda older, aswell as the game resolution. Also I found a bug? I don't know if its a bug, but when you hold a crate, and press the down arrow for an example, and then your ghost does the same thing but he doesnt havee the crate, he can fly. You can probably use that for some extreme puzzles. But maybe they already were later in the game? I just couldn't go further, so I cannot say much about the game. Sounds. I am not a sound connoseiur, but they felt nice for me, and connected with the game's graphics in my honest opinion. This game was fun, had it's hard parts, one of which made me rage quit. But goood job making this game dude!
Awesome game! I loved the pixel art and the core mechanics of the game. Keep it up! Very well done and crazily amazed about how well u polished the game. The atmosphere is alsso insanely kewl and the movement and activity in the game is wonderful. Keep up the gret work!
It's cool I like the concept! Well done on capturing the theme. I got stuck on fourth level :(
Nice game, it seems mobile friendly, Shooting down to jump was great, Congrats
Summoning a ghost that repeats your actions to aid you is amazing, but the spikes and other things which kill you are reeeeeeally hard to spot for me.
Cool concept, nice visuals.
It did get buggy sometimes. I mean, sometime the ghost would pick up crates, and sometimes it won't.
Had fun tho! good job!
Yo?! The visuals? Damm i love that. Also i love the double jump is jump and than rocket down.
Really clever concept and flawlessly executed. If I could give critique it would be two things, the first thing is actually really small and you probably did it for design purposes, but the hurtbox of the enemy is really huge and it doesn't seem like you killed it when you shoot it. Another thing I could criticize is the artstyle, it may be my taste or the fact that I'm colorblind but I didn't really like the colors that were chosen for this game, they kinda blended together for me, and for the characters I think you tried to stuff too much detail in too few pixels by making it look noisy and unclear. Still it's way more than acceptable, I'm not an artist so take my words with a grain of salt, and the main game idea and the design are excellent and really fun :)
