Well polished, great visuals, great audio for sfx and music, nice menu at the beginning. All around great vertical slice of a game. Nicely done! I did feel like the trade off of getting juice to survive while not killing yourself made for a difficult balance, but overall was a fun mechanic. Well done!

Game Description
Destroy aliens and drink their juice to keep yourself powered. Careful not to overfill your juice tank, or it will overload, hurting you in the process and creating slowing puddles. Uprade your gear at the end of wave 8 and and wave 16.
How does your game tie into the theme?
Overloading your juice tank spills juice on the ground, hurting and slowing you in the process - but you need it to keep running!

Everything is greatly polished. Art, audio, difficulty, game feel. Very impressive.
I could say that you're almost always overloaded with juice and you almost never have to worry about not having enough juice. But you have to dodge the barrels and it increase the difficulty. So it's more a matter of choice than a flaw of design.
Awesome entry !
Great style, great game feel, and a really impressive presentation overall. Genuinely the best feeling game I've played from the jam so far. Great job!
Nice cohesive art style! Gameplay reminds me of an old flash game called Boxhead, lots of... juice... in that one too. Cool entry!
Amazing level of visual polish!! I love the colors and aesthetic, and the scanline shader brought it up a level too. The pixel art is super stylish and I'm particularly fond of the trees and the brown grass. The colors work really well to help the characters pop out. Runs really well in the browser even with a lot going on, so nice job on optimization in your code too! I had a lot of fun playing a few levels, but it got a little repetitive so I didn't get through to the end however. Excellent work!!
A very good game with nice graphics! But it was quite difficult to play since the enemies could easily corner you and then you were basically stuck. Maybe leveraging the overload feature, you could push the enemies away to save yourself from the horde. Or indicated where the enemies are coming from, so the player can prepare.
But overall a very polished game! GJ
Very beautiful style and enjoyable gameplay.
Some times enemys can block movement=(
It feels like a quite complete entry overall. The music felt repetitive, but it fits the game. It's quite easy to get stuck between enemies, so I think it would work better if there was no collision with them. I was positively surprised by the upgrade system, but I believe it would be even better if they came sooner and were more frequent. The visuals were very charming! I love the vibrant colors, and the crt shader gives it a "polished" look.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Glad and relieved you reached the upgrades XD I would've loved to add more but since I added them a few hours before the deadline and could only make 2 upgrade screens, I decided to make them available a bit later on - perhaps too late.
I was really wondering whether to leave the collisions or not. Without them it could be too easy, and with them a bit too overwhelming. I think they're probably a good addition to the game but need something to balance them out, as another person suggested here, such as an AOE attack. I actually planned to add a grenade launcher weapon to deal with the larger chunks of enemies, but ran out of time!
Awesome Game! Loved playing it <3 Having done everything yourself makes it extra impressive. Art feels consistent, loved the learn curve (completed wave 8 so far but will maybe return to try again ^^) Audio was nice, game loaded quickly on mac. Fit the theme perfectly (basically double). What maybe could be improved: It misses a bit of originality for me. There was a weird green screen overlay and I had to restart the game to get rid of it. I dont know what triggered it. When surrounded by aliens it would be nice to have a one time use blast os to get out of it, currently it often just means doom.
Hi! Thanks for playing and for the detailed feedback!
There's actually upgrades after wave 8 completion that makes it a bit more interesting, but I totally get the need for more. I planned to add a grenade weapon exactly for this scenario but unfortunately had no time to do that :(
The green bug screen bug is a weird one. I actually stumbled upon it minutes before the deadline so it was too late to debug that. I think I know what causes it though
EDIT:
I believe the green screen is when the game's screen is selected and highlighted in the browser, probably because of holding and moving the mouse - it happened to a friend of mine during testing and he said clicking outside the game's screen solved this issue. I think constraining the mouse to the game's screen will probably solve this bug in a future update.
Amazing visual design and slick controls, the CRT filter is a nice touch as well. I only wish the game page itself and/or How to Play page had some more details. There is no mention of the overload mechanic on the game's page or How to Play section. Overall, really cool.
Beautiful game, well done. I also could only get to level 6... It's way too easy to get cornered! It seems my time playing call of duty zombies taught me nothing ;D
The visuals are amazing! I managed to get to level 6, but I will get my revenge soon!
Amazing visuals and sounds! Gameplay is fun too, there are some non game breaking bugs (stuck in the wall and my bullets collide with trees, can't shot enemie). But overall really good! Maybe a bigger map would be nice to move around a bit more when there's lots of enemies?
