Game Description
A new city is being built, and you are tasked with powering it as it grows. This is a twisted version of a city builder, where instead of being in control of the where you place buildings, you instead control how buildings get connected. There is a tutorial, 3 special scenarios, and a standard mode.
How does your game tie into the theme?
You need to keep the city power from being overloaded as it grows. Also as you get later on in each level, you get overloaded with connections and new buildings.

Incredibly polished and a lot of fun! It has a satisfying game loop and a lot of replay value.
Great game, and as everyone else has said, love the music!
Song's a banger, 5/5 from me on that. The idea of the game is developed very well, it took me a few tries to get into the game, but after that it's a fun experience. I was also singing the song while playing to channel more energy, I don't know if it worked but it felt like it. :)
Good game, the different character really change the way you play, it's a really cool feature.
I just had a problem where sometime i loose and the message is unreadable (there are two texts at the same place) so i don't know why. But knowing me i maybe missed that from the tutorial.
Good work and shout out to the music, it's so rare to have vocals in game jam !
First of all: the song is a blast!
Your take on the theme is well developed. The only things is that the game it's not so intuitive (but maybe that's just me)
The music is a straight up banger (Can you upload it on youtube or somewhere lol? I'd like to listen to it). And the game itself is really fleshed out! Seriously impressive with different characters and bonuses and the main mechanic of powering building is a fun experience as well, overall - one of my favorites in this jam by far.
Quite fun! The presentation is great, and the music is amazing! Was it made for the game?
It was! DanzMacabre wrote and performed it all and even did the SFX. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Lol I didn't expect the vocals to come in after the tutorial. Amazinggg!
Overall very nice game concept but super difficult! Took me a minute to understand the "extra power" mechanic and the yellow number in the top left of buildings. I think this would have been more intuitive if expressed graphically with a bar, or lightning bolt icons that fill up or deplete based on how much you have.
Crossing Guard character seemed fun and was my first choice, but it ended up being almost impossible to get my city started. Poles seem to be OP and I had none! I would barely have enough money to place a powerplant before the first building overloaded the grid. Mayor Slough was also surprisingly difficult, as my grid got tangled up pretty quickly and then got some unlucky building placements. I was doing pretty well with Party Animal too, but still couldn't beat level 1. Finally gave it one last try with Spokesman, and he proves the theory: Pole Strat OP!! Got to level 3 before I realized it might just be restarting each time and not actually progressing. Had fun though, it's a test of quick clicks and reflexes!
Overall it was a blast to play! As a fan of Mini Motorways this was definitely my kind of game. Enjoyed how polished and cohesive the game was, and how each character truly gave a unique twist to how you play the game. I enjoyed trying them all. Excellent work!
What a fun game!
I feel like this idea was inspired on the electricity connection mechanics of Satisfactory. It was frustrating first in that game to always be low on connectable power poles. But it also gave a headstart in knowhow in your game!
Good Job!
first of all - Loved the song, its pretty catchy and fits the game pretty well. I didnt know at first why it kept demanding more power plants, but once I understood it it was smooth sailing. Wish there was something more indicative of a building needing power though, since white blends with the overall game pretty well. Btw, dont know if it was intentional, but if you build a pole before a power plant at the start of the game, the game doesnt start till you get the pole connected. this was super helpful to clear the stages, since you could plan ahead. It was fun
Fun strategy game, controls are a bit not intuitive.
VERY FUN! (Im not very good at it tho lol)
