Thanks! Assets are not mine, but I can take some credit for matching them with the theme) You can reload the game and the progress will be saved as well as controls working again, I don't know the cause of the issue, but for the post jam I have reworked the controls.

Thanks! That is insightful and pretty much on point.

Your game is amazing! Check out mine, please https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2969705

Very juicy feedback, real definition of won't do irl, but would crave to do in a game!

Liked that you were able to polish it and everything, though it had no time to show off balance and everything, good job!

It's fun and simple, but It looks like it does not have some strategy on how to survive longer rather than do better. Good job!

I don't really find that mountain calm haha, but that's a really cool game!

Looks and plays great! Good job!

It would be nice if you will rate my game https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2969705.  You may encounter a bug when the controls do not work after entering the room, but you can refresh the page if that happens, your progress will be saved. Thanks in advance!

Actually haven't expected that twist :) The only con was that controls do overlap. Good luck!

Your game is really funny. Loved that the score is basically an amount of survivors (made me thinking of weird spinoff for Supermassive Games' works). Great job!

Here is mine https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2969705. There is a bug when you can stuck after the scene change, but it saves automatically, so you can refresh if it happens. Good luck with your stream!

Thanks! It seems to be a visual bug with the plugin that embeds game onto the site, you need to click and it disappears.

I did actually https://itch.io/post/10986069

Nice game! Rate my entry too, please https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2969705

I like the mix of strategy and roguelike, gives more flexible risk management though not as random which may be improved. Amazing game!

Great concept! Saw similar things in coop games, but it seems that it is also can be enjoyed in solo. Though I found the game more punishing for fails than it is rewarding for success like speeding up when you've scored a hit.

Great job, jams are the right place to test your skills and improve them! I would suggest you always expose the parameters of your movements and etc, so you can tweak them easily, as current movement feels too slow.

Rated your game, here is mine https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2969705 :)

Interesting concept. I think making islands have some specific gameplay to get the coin would enhance both gameplay and narrative. Good job as a beginner!

Nice and creative minigames and effects. Good job!

Quick and stylish! Would love point&click part extended (more like wanting more of it :) )

Really fun concept, gives the vibe of old browser games: short, fun and on point! Would be great if you will add some save between levels after the jam. Amazing work!

Interesting entry. But I think you should have tried to make it more about management (considering there is a calm phase only right now). I think that games like supermarket simulator would be great as an inspiration.

I love the chaotic nature of the game: simulation part of picking, storm and crowd movement, but in my opinion it is a bad practice to use it as an obstacle for the player, it needs something else to make the game more deep and fair. Great vibes!

Tower defense is definitely  a classic fit for calm/storm duality. However it lacks many QoL features and because of this it would be absolutely  unfair to make it harder, but without it it is not challenging. The setting is pretty fun, so with some polish it will be great.

Hope you will have the time to complete the game. Currently I can only note that it feels pretty smooth, though things like destroying fireballs require too much precision considering the size of the projectile.

Funny bug I've encountered is that attacks are queued and I clicked a minute of attacks in advance for myself :) This actually could be made into a good feature / easter egg if you want to continue the development.

It's always cool if you are able to design the game in a way that players experience plays more role than upgrades and natural skills and I think you've nailed it here!

That was a pretty unique take on this theme! I think it would be better as an arcade game with some tricks, events, more things happening on the screen!

Love a good detective game! Would like to see some extended version with some interactivity like the first day.

Interesting entry, but it needs more depth and balance (Those enemies destroy my health bar faster than elden ring dogs 😢). Good job!

That's cool you were able to build it in a week! As you wrote I've got absurdly powerful, so I would have preferred to be stormed by the horde of the aliens like serious sam or something) Great job!

I like the challenges first person controls introduce to the tower defence. I do not really feel like it has some calm/storm duality, but it is still a great concept, good job.

Thanks for review! I had huge plans when I started prototyping, so most of this is just features stripped while I was checking if I will implement those in time. It is supposed to end as a cliffhanger, but I thought of  it as of the first iteration after which you can replay differently and maybe get to the very bottom of it.

Hi, sadly I can't reproduce that bug, but from other comments it seems that it is ok if you just reload the page, your progress will be saved too)

Great idea, but I think it needs some twist like some roguelike story progression/upgrades. I saw that you're aware of this, but still there are some bugs that feel like they can be features too and you just can't catch the rules due to them.

Overall, great job!

Amazing game! Loved to see it is polished too, though more in terms of visuals and sounds as cushions placing is a bit off, kind of pulled me off from the overall flow.

Amazing entry, would love to see it extended after the jam, with more time to build up. Keep up the good work!

Great entry! I will join the others about it being a bit too slow and I would like destroy button not be another menu :( Maybe you will consider making some kind of ruins out of the city instead of blowing it up?

Good luck!

Thanks, I will look into it!
