Wow the animations were amazing!! I think like others said the invisible walls got a bit annoying and also I wished I could see what each powerup was before taking it since sometimes it felt like it was downgrading my gun. But yeah loved the sound design and definitely the ship animations and shooting!! Great work!!
First I thought the calm phase was supposed to be a tetris-like puzzle XD But then realized you can use those shapes as protection from the shrimp monsters. I like the idea of the flying ship, and the art and the music! And the landing animation is pretty cool! Great job!

As non-artist really like when people say what they like art and visuals. It was one of focuses for the project :)
I like the simple but appealing visual style and the storm phase feels really satisfying.
Maybe the calm phase could be expanded a bit though, right now there is not much strategy involved other than placing a few walls to distract some enemies.

Overall ok game, however the boundries when landed not being visible killed me twice thinking I could go further out. Pretty annoying.

Great idea, but I think it needs some twist like some roguelike story progression/upgrades. I saw that you're aware of this, but still there are some bugs that feel like they can be features too and you just can't catch the rules due to them.

Stylish graphics! The gameplay's pretty neat too.
You should add a fullscreen mode to the web version though because it's kinda hard to read the text without it

I like the detail of the landing animation. The effect of the flying ship is pretty cool also.

lol “whatever storm or calm means”, it’s the opposite :D very nice game, i so like top down shooters!
In my "internal" representation of the theme: the storm was "storm of enemies". So It's kinda calm before the storm... And yeah... Borders on the ground should be a sand storm which wasn't implemented... So it could be interpretetad as "calm storm before sand storm"... Anyway have what I have :)
