This was so incredibly fun! Very simple gameplay but I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It was missing a crosshair which made it harder to aim (also I feel like the projectiles go a bit off to the left?) and some turns were really hard if you don't cheese by staying really far from the enemies were they can't attack, but it was still super fun. I like the models and the sounds (though they were kinda loud and the shield sound is quite long), the song fits well and crazy robot body evil cover in the end was funny. I think having an indicator showing where the enemies are would be nice as I took a while to find them sometimes or they showed up behind me and killed me when I couldn't see them. Also, since there is no punishment for running I think you should be constantly running, or if necessary do like Spelunky 2 where you run by default and hold a button to go slowly, it's annoying to be holding the button constantly. I think that's all I have to say, good stuff!

This is really good and impressive given the short development time. The environment and enemy design is really cool, and the boss fight has a lot of different attacks. It took me a lot of tries to beat it but it felt very satisfying in the end.

Would love to have a mini map or some kind of indication of where the enemies are at, because especially in the boss fight those drones can kill you pretty quick before you even notice them.

Great job!

Very fun and challenging game, definitely invokes feeling of the early fps games, and the atmosphere is nice too

I liked this. Neuro/Evil charging at you from around the corner is spooky as heck

The mouse control did not work, and the shoot always go to the left.
Was laggy in windows sandbox.

Developer

Huh, that's weird that mouse control didn't work. I know about bug that rarely makes you shoot left, but sadly I wasn't able to find reason why that happens, but in your case it always shoots left? I think that happened to me as well during testing while I had also turned on obs, so it may got something to do with current load on pc (or windows sandbox in your case, though I don't know whether turning on windows sandbox impacts performance).

I was streaming to discord. Tried without, mouse control works and no more shoots to the left. Strange bug, indeed.

I'm not great at this type of game but the last wave and boss fight felt very hard. It was very fun though !

Its pretty nice! Not a huge fan of shooters but its intuitive enough that I know what to do immediately and its pretty fun!

I remember this developer's game in last year's jam, it was a horror game. Something about this game feels just as scary if not scarier somehow, be it the atmosphere, enemy design or experience D: Combat keeps you on your toes and the final bossfight is fantastic. Great work!!!
