I collected many orbs, but the circles never filled in :/

The ambition! The audacity!

I picked this up too late, so I only saw one other player (who fled from me!). All I could really do was kill mobs, and I eventually started losing health every couple of seconds, which I didn't expect? I assumed the thing in the bottom right was a mini map, but it didn't show anything useful (like the way back to the portal).

BUT I was on the internet!

This is very nice! Everything worked well, that it was very atmospheric. Thank you for the arrows on the ground, lol

Adorable frog, award winning sound effects!

What a beautiful scene! The windy hair looks amazing :)

When you have a lightning bolt, everything looks like a target 🤷

Very nice looking game! Trash cans are all named Binjamen now.

It took us a while to figure out what the user experience was going to be at the beginning, so the introduction of the mechanics is a bit... chaotic, lol. Thank you for playing!

I'm so glad someone found us!

This was really cool! I really like the memory aspect of not seeing the pieces that have moved to black.

I love the art, especially the collectable plants (with the nice lighting) and the character design. I couldn't figure out how to use items after crafting them. I guess I failed to remember my old master's words. T_T

I love the character designs (especially mechanic snake girl in the junkyard), and the dialog UI looks amazing!!!

Great job on the light effects! It took me a minute to realize you could use the torch to attack, and I did go ahead and die pretty quickly. The atmosphere is great!

💚

Sounds awesome! Such a beautiful game

The pixel-by-pixel destruction is VERY cool. I don't understand how to win though 😭

When the fires started, I thought my server room had overheated 😂😂😂 Short and sweet. Nice job!

Very beautiful and soothing! I think this is the only 3d game I've found so var that is playable in browser. The controls were intuitive, but I wish it was one growing area you were working on over time instead of different islands. This was so nice, though!

Love the humor. Great start!

I'm no good at platformers, but I love the vibe and the hand-drawn tile set! The music is great too. Very stylish game!

Very nice, polished game. (I beat level 7, that is the extent of my abilities.)

Very nice! The primary mechanic with the shrinking field of vision was very cool, and the lighting in general was well-done (around corners, etc). My only complaint is that I was too busy playing to read the dialog, so I wasn't able to feel the full impact of the plot and the ending. It would be nice to have the game pause while the dialog is up so you're able to read it without passing out. Great job! (If I had a second suggestion, it would be restarting at the beginning of the level instead of having to walk down the hall... Yeah I passed out 7 times . But I made it!)

soundtrack if anyone needs more songs to burn castles to in their life https://m.soundcloud.com/applebard/sets/goblin-fandango-ost

Very nice! I appreciate the random permutations of dude/beard/hair on the crew. It took me a few plays to figure out my preferred strategy (cut out the amount of forest you need to save instead of trying to optimize the amount saved). The only thing I feel is missing is a way to unmark trees, so you can try to avoid your guys catching on fire. Very polished, well done!

YES

Nothing to add to what others have said--felt smooth, music was🔥, wish I could see what was coming next, but otherwise everything was perfectly clear and felt great.

lmao, that's a take on the theme I never would have though of. And that song, too good.

I'm so sorry grandma ;_; I'm bad at platformers, but what a nice, stylish game. And when I DID succeed, it was rewarding :)

Incredible for 20 hours, and the art (splash art and pixel art) looks great. I like how the game really got across the emotion of "Please leave me alone, I'm trying to pull weeds!!"

Thank you for playing it! I'm glad you made it to the end. Agree with everything--getting stuck in corners and navigation/pathing were probably our top challenges. Really glad to hear the controller worked for you since most of us were only testing with mouse and keyboard. We were going (almost) right up until the deadline and a couple of details got dropped...

Me ✋ I've been low-key wanting to do a game jam for a long time, so I was really happy to be invited to my team. The hype is true: I learned so much and it's a great feeling to have a (mostly) finished project!!!

Thank you so much!

I love the style and the gameplay feels great, but it turns out I am not smart enough for these puzzles

I loved this. If you're thinking of adding more later on, it would be great to have voiceover for the dialogs. Once I realized the dance moves in the conversations were on a timer, I had a hard time reading the dialog because I just wanted to look where the cues would be. Such a different and fun visual style! And the difficulty and length were perfect.

Very nice interpretation of the theme! One of my team's ideas was "spreading rebellion," but we didn't have a solid idea for how to gamify spreading an idea so we gave that up. Nicely done!

Love the art and the vibe!

Loved the cinematics of the intro and ending. Nice job!

Very nice! It feels like the beginning of something very solid. I wish there were more jars of mayo laying around, or maybe a way to slurp mayo up off the ground (ew) because I'm bad at games and afraid of running out of mayo. (This is also true in real life.) Love the music, too.

Satisfying to watch the board fill up  :)

I won, why am I sad :(

Very well done, love the limited color palette, minigames, clear hints and simple controls. IDK just imagined this, but it felt like the music was missing notes as the game progressed, which is a nice touch. Relatable stuff.
