  • I enjoyed this game quite a lot! It was so much fun just dancing my way through the map :D The performance suffered a bit in fullscreen mode and the golden hands aren't always easy to recognize but other than that I had a blast playing your game! Thank you and keep making games!

All the people on my team were playing this game. So I gave it a try and now I know why. This game slapped. I had so much fun playing. I amassed an army and we were dancing all around. I don't know if it is just me but I would one million percent play a full version of this game. Especially if you had time to polish and animate the dance moves. Very very fun. Got a score of 57648 and a grade A. Awesome job on the jam game!

Thank you all for your supportive comments! I've been very busy since the jam ended so I'm sorry I can't reply to everyone individually, it means an immense amount though that you'd engage with something we've created. Both myself and the artist behind the game are incredibly grateful. I'm having a lovely time going through everyone else's games, it's an honour to be amongst such creative and diverse developers. Thanks again!

Great concept, well done! I'm not so sure about the sound effects, but the music was bangin'.

this was so fun! tunes were bangin. loved the art style. and the combos were super satisfying. the whole concept was very funny. would have loved to seen the character change dance moves with each combo. great job

We didn't have time to finish all the different dance moves, alas maybe in the future. Thank you very much for playing!

A fun enough game, I just wished the sound effects made a bit more sence.

Hahaha, great game. Dancing Manias are one of my favourite history mysteries. Great concept and funny execution. I'll definately will imagine some medieval peasants doing the robot in the future.

The mechanics of this game are pretty interesting, I enjoyed it for a time, but the dance moves were way too complicated in the end. I didn't like that I had to wait for the combo to go down to be able to try again.

The setting and the story is awesome tho! I also liked the soothing music. Great job everyone!

I got grade C, haha i lost patience with getting so many followers once i realized i could charm the guards with my dance moves.

My own personal theory as to why Dance Mania occurred in the past is because some genius of phat beats was making music so sick we can only imagine and people just couldnt help themselves.

HAHAH! really fun game idea and nice job sticking with the project and getting something playable end to end!

What a game! The most unique one I've seen so far. Love the idea and mechanics and learning new dance combos was awesome. Also, there is something just so satisfying of seeing an ever-growing mass of people dancing. Great job!

Very creative! Love the idea of a Katamari Damacy game where it's simply a dance you cannot refuse. Dance unlocks were neat, I just wish I could have been paying attention to what they were saying, but I was too busy busting a move to listen.

Love it, reminds me of the medival song covers you find on youtube. Love the art. Little hard to see the icons when the view got zoomed out.

One of the all time greats. Reminded me of Justin Smith, an incredibly funny indie game developer.

I loved this. If you're thinking of adding more later on, it would be great to have voiceover for the dialogs. Once I realized the dance moves in the conversations were on a timer, I had a hard time reading the dialog because I just wanted to look where the cues would be. Such a different and fun visual style! And the difficulty and length were perfect.

Thank you for playing! My number one regret is what you've pointed out here with the disconnect between reading and inputting dances moves, voice over is an interesting solution.

What a fun idea! Gets really fast paced when you get into it.

Good stuff with the score system and dance unlocks.

Honestly, one of the best jam games I've played so far! The dance moves were mapped to the keys so well, I thought i was actually doing the dance moves. 10/10 If I had a time machine, id go back to the 13-17 century now
