this is fun to control, and it's satisfying getting a lot of grouped enemies at once. i made it to wave 10 on my first try

Cool! The gameplay is fun, and it felt satisfying to destroy the enemies. Funny, my game had a similar concept. Nice job!
Cool game! It felt satisfying swinging the mace around and building momentum. I think that it could use some more enemy types to mix it up but understandable for not having time during the jam period. Great work!
Very fun, especially once you get the ball swinging and obliterate large groups of enemies. Giving the player a shield was a good idea. Great job on the game!

Instantly fun and satisfying. The shield mechanic rewards you for not just training enemies and there's a lot of depth in just this jam version. Polish and release, baby!

The wrecking ball should be larger and feel heavier to move around i feel like the chain should be usable to attack the enemy aswell other then this its a well executed idea and the music and sound effects work well i would recommend adding a shield to help out and maybe more of a tutorial at the start
The wrecking ball could definitely use a larger size or a larger hit box. I really, really like the physics you accomplished. It feels very fluid and dynamic without feeling forced or strange. The sound effects were a bit loud and annoying, but I forgave the game that because of how fun it was to slam enemies with the wrecking ball. :)
The wrecking ball mechanic took some time to get used to, but it's fun actually.
The only issue I noticed was it's not obvious that you have a shield (also, I can't read), perhaps some particles when bouncing an enemy would be nice, as well as some game juice in general.
That said, it's a good game!
The game is quite fun! The idea of being chained to a ball to use as a weapon, although common, is used well here! The physics feels really nice to play. Perhaps if the chain is independent of the player's rotation, it would be better. Also, having no i-frames and instead making your health really high isn't very good. HP as a number is annoying to measure, a bar would be more convenient. Nice game!
As others have said, using the wrecking ball is pretty tough at first, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty fun! My minor complaint is that when the player gets damaged, the sound effects seem to stack which can be pretty irritating. Overall a pretty cool experience, good job!
