Good luck! 😁

(1 edit)

Thanks man! And congrats!
Yes, we will definitely continue with it. 😉

Good luck with your game! It's pretty fun too, but I want the ability to go out after I'm done with the homework 😜

Thank you guys for rating or writing a comment to our game! You made it possible for us to make it to the stream!

Thank you Ryan for playing our game!

Congratulations to the winners, and better luck for next time for the others!

It was a fun experience 😁

Don't worry we also have 0 in the analytics, it seems it's not available until the results are announced :D

You are welcome :) Good luck!

Thanks for playing! We wanted to make it longer, but we decided to keep it as it was for the purpose of the jam. We will consider extending it for later, but that might make more sharks want to join the feast :D

Thank you for your kind words! Glad you liked it.

Thank you for playing! We wanted to give our sharks an earful for bullying players, but couldn't find their ears yet :(

Thanks for playing! The sharks should die in one headshot with the harpoon gun :D But yeah it probably should be balanced more yet. Although I don't think it should be a problem for you because you are an expert dealing with so many spectral fishes :D

Thank you for playing! Yes indeed the harpoon gun might not be very noticeable, especially the way it's put in the level, we will do something about it :D

Oh I see. My bad :D. I got to the stage when you spam a random button and got to the fish radar but the mouse wasn't responsive enough and the fish was always faster, so I couldn't hold the cube on it for long enough, should I have held some buttons too to imprison the fish inside? The graphics options work (I saw how the fog was reduced), but even on the low option, it wasn't much faster Idk why.

Excellent game, simple and fun! Interesting fishing mechanics. Unfortunately, there was no sound during the play. I made it to the end, I think, and that's when I caught the boss, or that's not the end? :D

Nice environment in the game, the music is relaxing, and the fishing is pretty simple.
Faced some problems with the fps consistently being below 30 (I guess) when the boat was facing the lake, when I turned the camera to the buildings it was getting back to the normal rate. But that can be polished with no problem. Overall good job! :D

Glad you liked it. I hope our sharks did their best :D

Great game! Interesting way to approach fishing :D All the aspects of the game are well-fit together. I can see it easily becoming a fun way to teach the kids some arithmetics (although when I upgraded the runes one level I suffered with the divisions severely :D). Great game keep it up!

P.S: I saw some green light through the door but couldn't get out. I guess I'm grounded until I finish my homework :(

Very well looking graphics and great atmosphere. Loved the hand written notes. Sadly I couldn't find out how to catch the fishes, I mean I casted the line then waited for the fish but didn't figure out how to tell if it's time to catch it.

For me, personally, the pause menu felt a bit not blending with the overall atmosphere of the game.

The game itself was running slow for me, so I turned on the radio and started listening to it, and I liked it :D Some more polishing and it will look great.

Loved the graphical style, the UI, and the music. The fishing part is nice, the only thing there that I couldn't tell how low or high the fish is so I lower or lift the light on the bobber so it was a bit hard to catch a fish. Struggled a bit with reel in and reel out buttons (seen them on the screen but didn't know that I have to press them with the cursor :D).

Liked the you can turn on the boat lights and in addition I bought a head light :D.

Wish you good luck with the game, and hope that you will continue with it.

Thanks for playing! Man you should have taken your sad bears with you, I think together you could easily beat all the sharks, no matter how many are there :D

Cool game. Music and SFX go very well with the graphic choice. When I caught my first fish and saw the fade-out screen and heard the sound of breaking rock I thought I'll have to brawl the fish to make it go into the inventory :D But turned out I'll just take a picture with it.

Had a minor bug when I fished in front of the boat, the screenshot with me holding the fish was showing only a small part of the fisherman.

But it's nothing major so good job!

Got the same error as Marco Santos, probably the game isn't packaged with correct configs.

I convinced 10 fish to jump in, Idk if that's a lot :D I like the idea, it's very unusual. The total silence is awkward a bit. Also, I feel that the pictures of the bait instead of the words could be better, but maybe that's the point: that you have to guess the color.

Good luck!

I have never played as an eagle in my life yet :D Love the eagle animation and vision. The environment is pretty nice too. Didn't find any bugs in the single-player mode. Good job overall!

The graphics look awesome, nice atmosphere, and nice intro music. Couldn't understand at first what should I do :D In the end fished down from the shore (before reading your comment). I think it has great potential if you continue with it.

And in the end, I got lost in the sea. Wish you good luck with it.

Very nice game! Very well made. Love the graphics, the UI, the sound effects and the animation. The only thing that I really missed was a map to navigate around but maybe I just didn't find it. Some quests, especially the one before the last, couldn't read because they were chopped. Sometimes my fps dropped to 45 when I was swimming :D But those are some minor issues I guess. Excellent job! Wish you good luck.

I thought you might be interested why your game didn't package, os I went ahead and tried to. It turns out it wouldn't package because of the name of your project, it contained a dot in it's name. The c# files for the game where treating the dot as an operator, and where searching for the class/struct members :D.

So I renamed it to "P_FishingGame_V2_2" and it all went like a charm.
This video helped me rename it correctly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGn1SfX6s9
After that you will have to delete the "intermediate" folder and run your project so it can rebuild it correctly.

About the game itself, it has a very nice graphic style, and I didn't feel any lag while playing the packaged game, but couldn't go to any boats that were there :D In my opinion there is very little to do in that big beautiful world right now.

Also I could fish in the grass, which was surprising :D Other than that good job!

Thanks for playing :)

Enjoyed the game! Love the UI and the bears :D. Got pretty surprised when after fishing 5-6 times I have nothing to put to the feed box, turns out I only caught old boots (although I'm pretty sure there was a fish at the bobber :D)

Encountered some minor bugs with the UI not getting the input, but nothing major.

Game feels well rounded, good luck with the further development!

I would say looks pretty sick as a first game. Loved the graphics. The controls are a bit hard for me though :D, and I was a little confused about how close is the fish to me when I reel it :D. Good luck on your journey!

Thanks for playing :). I hope you weren't spooked much. :D

I liked the idea of using letters, resulting in unique graphics. Struggled a bit with the controls at first, but that's on me :D. Liked the animations overall, and the fish spawning. Is it done in widgets only?

We have submitted our game not too long ago. Good luck everyone!
