love games that demand you master it's movement mechanics, stuff like Ultrakill or SourgeBringer. If you made a game all about movement I would love to play it!

I'll go first!Boaba Yaga is a fast paced slither-n-slash game where you steal weapons from guards to use as both propulsion and offense.

what a blast! one of the most polished games i've played in this jam. loved the art and funny voice acting! i'm personally a sucker for a good grapple game so this was great. i only have a couple critiques: i think the grapple should be longer and / or there should be a little indicator of what the grapple can hit. often times i found myself missing a hook because i though i could reach but but the grapple wasn't quite long enough. i think either making it longer or giving a little indication of what is in range will go a long way to let players understand what their limits are. other than that i had a lot of fun! the little quips were always a joy to little to and the respawn was quick, so i never felt taken out of the game.

oh my goodness :0. thank you so much!

Very cool! I love the use of AI and the different lose animations.

Cool idea! I wish there weren't just a hard end when you're wrong, but I did learn a lot about different items relative length in terms of bananas :)

Great game! I did manage to jump out of bounds on a level, but I had a blast doing it.

Great game! I really enjoyed the intro cutscene

very cute, I liked when the cat starts chain-eating everything around it

Really cool game. I found the wall jumping a little hard to get the hang of, but still enjoyable :)

I love the art and the intro cutscene, but the gameplay was really difficult. Cool concept :)

I love the vibe of the game, my only complaint is having to wait around for the tree cooldown. would love to see a speed up button or something :)

a chill little automation game. I loved the wahoo's when you beat the levels

very addictive, with a little more polish I would definitely buy this on Steam.

This game is so cute. I was a little lost on my first attempt, but after I understood what I was doing, it was very enjoyable.

Really cool interpretation of the theme, I had a lot of fun

Fun, but hard. Could use a tutorial or tooltips :)

I really liked the art and the music, the gameplay was a little slow for my taste, but still enjoyable

running animation went super hard!

We are looking for a 2D pixel artist to add some spice to the look of our game, since we're all programmers and composers. If you'd like to join our team please shoot a message to our game director on discord @wooshdude. We'd love to see some of your previous work as well!

Post bug reports here. Please format as such:

Adorable art style! The combat was very satisfying, though I wish that Bompurr would attack where my cursor was instead of the direction it's facing. Amazing!

Very unique, but I feel it doesn't capture the satisfying nature of the original Fruit Ninja. Needing to wait for the slice make the gameplay feel very slow and methodical rather than manic and reactive.

You fixed the issue I have with most turn based games where all I do is press buttons. This was very satisfying to play!

Amazing take on the theme! The controls were super crispy and the gun was satisfying to shoot. I would LOVE to see this expanded into a full release!

Super creative take on the theme! The only issue I had was that I had to wait such a long time to get the codeword cards.

Very cool game! I really enjoyed it

Creative idea, but I really wish you didn't need to click on which question you were trying to answer. It would feel much better if all I needed to do was type the answers as fast as I could. Also, some variations of names would be nice. For example: gold sword and golden sword.

Fun concept, but as soon as I get any more than 2 roads the chicken doesn't stand a chance.

So adorable I love Laika!

Very unique take on the fireboy-watergirl type of game! The art was very cute and added a great atmosphere to the levels. However, I have a couple notes on some things we discovered while playing:

  • The door to level 3 from level 2 seems to be bugged. It takes us to what i think is a developer test level?
  • In level 5, no matter how many times we dropped the box on the final button, the door only opened once, and it was when we didn't have our jumper on the top floor. After playing about 5-6 times we had to skip the level because that door did not want to open.
  • We're pretty sure level 6 is impossible, as we can't find a way to move the box to the fans. There's no way to jump over it, as there is no jumper option, and even if we tried to use the fan to lift our light-brawn construct it was just too far.
  • Level 7 was awesome! More of that please! Blocking the fans is a super cool mechanic that I wish was explored more.

I think with a little more polished you could have a serious contender here! Well done!

Interesting idea, but I wish that, for being such a fast moving object, the gameplay would reflect that. perhaps making the controls similar to Asteroids and allowing the player to zoom around the screen or ricochet off of surfaces? Good work for a first time jam!

Amazing animations, but some of the interactions are a little buggy. For example, taunting the farmer while in the air will cause the cute mole to be unable to move. The hitbox for the farmer is also pretty small, which makes it very easy to cheese the game. Very entertaining game, though! Well done!

Either I am really bad at video games, or this game isn't possible to beat. The only unit that did damage was the duck, so I would have had to only summon the wizard guys, which I think are the only way to get cans, and make duck guys that have a chance to die and do no damage.

I love capybaras and I adore this art. The game feels a little too easy, all I had to do was run in circles, but the power-ups added nice variety.

I don't know what's going on, just that I really hate that fish. Well done!

So much fun! This is such a creative take on the theme, and a cathartic release at the same time (I hate frogs).

Interesting idea, though poorly executed in my opinion. The game felt slow and scripted, and at some point none of the road types would work and I would lose every time.

Fun game! Very clever idea and very satisfying execution. I wish the fish was controlled by the cursor, but otherwise it felt great to play. Maybe adding an upgrade system could improve the flow a little?

Interesting concept, though most levels could be finished by drawing a straight line and spamming the cheap ships. I wish there was a speed-up button, as the gameplay is quite slow at times. Also, being sent back to level 1 was soul crushing. Would love to see this game polished up and continued!
