Very cute artstyle and vibes! Although the boxer bear felt a bit too OP, maybe give Bompurr a little heal before the fight, or make him easier? I couldn't manage to beat him both times I reached him. Or maybe just let players restart from the beginning of the bear fight? Idk, either way this game is great!

The game is in a very cute setting, almost lost to that bear, but the 100% love of the main character for my kitty was worth it. Having to make choices or minimize possible harm from her decisions as much as possible is a very interesting and cool mechanic that makes you not just spam LBMs, but actively maneuver around the location. 10 out of 10! And another 100 out of 10 for the kitty and the atmosphere!
This is such a fun and beautiful game. It gives me the vibes of a studio ghibli movie with the art style and the premise. A really good take on the role reversal theme for the jam. Amazing that you could coordinate a team to make a game this polished in this short of a time frame. I had to get myself disowned because I knew there would be something funny that would happen lol. I had a lot of laughs from playing and it left me with a smile on my face, thanks for the cool game!
I streamed the game here:
This game is very creative! The art is really cute too. Though when playing, the trainer stopped giving commands after a while, and enemies stopped spawning. I wasn’t sure what to do after that.
Oh man I wish I found that bug earlier; at that point the boss is supposed to spawn when there are no more enemies left and the music fades out, I'm guessing an enemy got stuck or possible fell out of the map and therefore softlocks it. Hopefully you still enjoyed it, it seems this has a rare chance to happen.
The presentation in this game is simply outstanding, and it's so funny! I can't wait to see more from this team!
Very cute game with lots of character! I love the art <3
I found the bear to be too hard to beat in my first run. Wish there was a way to return to the beginning of the bear fight straight away after dying to it. Would've given it another try then
Great idea. Great execution. Great art. What more can I say? Very well done!
When I saw the game first, I just kept thinking about playing it, When I did, I wasn't really disapointed, it's like Pokemon but reversed, and I love that you can just ignore her.
I also like the final boss, pretty funny.
Very cool idea and well executed. My only complaint is I wish she spoke in shorter sentences and ideally the game would slow down when she speaks, because sometimes I would fail before I even had the chance to read what she wants. Other than that great experience. Good job!
Very ambitious for a 48 hour game and for the most part you succeded. Was especially impressed by the animations.
Would love to have some more audio feedback when your low on obidience/ failed commands etc.
Also I would often instantly fail commands when I was fighting (increase the time window or something)
I loved the graphics however sometimes I would follow her commands and the game would act as if I didnt.
Controls were a bit off! Great job on creating this in 48 hrs! Check out ours too!
Oh wow this is great! Super unique theme that really matches the jam. And the visuals/music are also fantastic. I liked that their was unique ending screens for both dying and disobeying (I did both on purpose to see). I also defeated Boxer Bear! Solid gameplay as well, the fighting felt pretty juicy for what I thought initially was going to be super basic.
The entire thing was great, but I'd say my only complaint is it seemed that the trainer wasn't quite lenient enough, either with giving you enough time to do her request or with just what's going on in general. A lot of times you would be in combat and she may say to do something, but then you get hit (because you're fighting) and she instantly is unhappy. I suppose that's why the thinking logo is down below so when I saw that I usually ran away. But another one would be when she tells you to play dead or not move, and you don't but then the enemies slightly push you and then she is angry again. Just slightly annoying. But this complaint is extremely minor! Just an observation, the game itself for a jam game is still like a 96/100! Oh one super super minor thing is the very beginning it took me like 30 seconds to figure out I was supposed to go up straight through the bushes tree tops/ thought I would need to go right or left.
But yes overall this is exceptionally well done! Incredible it was all put together in 48 hours. Your team should all be super proud of the work you put into this!! Wouldn't be surprised if this makes it into the top 100. Fantastic work!!
Adorable art style! The combat was very satisfying, though I wish that Bompurr would attack where my cursor was instead of the direction it's facing. Amazing!
The art style is so cute! I am really impressed. I did have to stop playing when the screen started to shake because I get motion sick *really* easy. I really wanted to be able to finish. Great work though! I really liked what I managed to play.
This is great! I loved your spin on the Pokemon genre. It was a bit tough to fight behind trees because you can't really see what you're doing, but overall that's a fairly minor complaint and it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. Very nice work!
