Nice principle and environment, but the cam is shacky and the collisions of rooms aren't good, my little boy jumped out the map (near the stone door on the fifth level or something). Otherwise I always love to be a tauren.

It's a nice little game, but I feel like the camera was a bit weird, and I since it was easy to get stuck, I would've liked the ability to restart in game instead of closing and reopening it each time. Still, good job !

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, I agree with everything you said, we will definitely correct it after the jam is over :)

A neat take on the theme although I don't think it comes across super well. I wasn't able to guess what the relation to the theme was until I saw you had answered the question below. I would probably add a note to the game's page saying how it relates to the theme so people know before playing.

The overall aesthetic of the game is great, the graphics and audio compliment each other well. The way that the block that the minotaur could pick up the box that Theseus could only push was a nice touch. The only other feedback I would have is that I locked my game on the second puzzle because I pressed 'E' thinking it would drop the box on the button and instead it trapped me in place with the box on my head. That's something that probably more people would do by habit too. Also the instructions on the game page are incorrect as they say LMB is aim and RMB is throw but for me it was the opposite. (HTML version) Otherwise, really good entry and nicely done!

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback! We have fixed everything that we could fix on the game page that you noted ;)

And we'll change that left in the game when the jam is over!

Looks amazing but I didn't get how it is related to the theme. As pointed out before the lack of camera control means that it is easy to loose sight of the avatar. Very early in the second room I got stuck in a corner when I was carrying a block. Probably this is easy to fix but right now the game is frustrating. Note that I only tried the web version and not the PC version.

Thanks for your feedback! The theme is the difference in scale between the characters and the boxes, while one character has a power to move a huge box the other character cannot handle it . And I really understand your point about the controls and overall mechanics polish, to me it feels more like a pre-alpha test and there's a lot of work that needs to be done to make it truly enjoyable to play.

Great game, looks like you put a ton of effort into it and it shows. Congrats!

Developer

Thank you so much!!!

Really great visuals. The camera clipping was a little distracting, adding some ability to rotate/change the camera angle and get a feel for that 3D environment would also be cool. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for your feedback ! I'm planning on adding fixed 4-way rotation and something to clean the view area around the character, hope it'll help. 😅

Wow, cool game! It's refreshing to see a well made 3D game. It really feels quite polished and the assets you used (or even created?) fit the atmosphere! Neat!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much!! All 3D objects, except the ivy, were made by us :)

We tried our best to achieve a visually holistic picture!

I'm choosing to imagine this as a canon buddy adventure for these two in the events following the game Hades.

Great graphics and framerate, especially for WebGL, I'm always battling with it in game Jams since I'm 3D-focused. I especially liked the minotaur character.

My suggestion would be to give these two a little banter in each level. I think that could be really fun, offer the player hints, tell some story, a lot of possibilities there to flesh out the experience.

Nice work!

Thank you! We wanted to make dialogues between characters, and we even made a plot, but our priorities was the gameplay and graphics. Glad you enjoyed our game!

Great game! I did manage to jump out of bounds on a level, but I had a blast doing it.

Developer

Ahaha,I knew I missed one place where I should have put the collider, glad you liked our game though!

Great work. The visuals are astounding. the physics is a bit jarring sometimes, but worked for me to solve many puzzles.

Developer

Thank you!! I'm glad you liked our puzzles 😉

Crazy to think you've done this in just a month!

Gorgeous graphics, models, lighting and animations. Really adds a ton to the atmostphere of the game. Would have been great to allow rotation of the camera to make it a bit easier to see. I made it through a few rooms but then I think I got stuck:

There's a room where the guy needs to jump on a switch on a high platform. After opening a door using the guy + a small box on 2 switches, the minotaur placed the big box in a way that allowed the guy to jump first on the minotaur, then on the big box, then on the switch, thus opening the big door. The minotaur can go through the big door but as soon as the little guy moves out of the high platform, the door closes behind the minotaur and the little guy gets stuck as a result. Did I miss something or did I just mess up? :)

Developer

Thank you so much !!!
To solve that room you just need to throw the small box with the small guy from big box on the button, you can do so with RMB to aim and LMB to throw
There are several really interesting rooms after that one :)

ah that makes sense!! OK let me go back and play it through once more!

Developer

Ahaha yeah, sorry that we didn't make level choose menu, it would be helpful

Game atmosphere looks good, minotaur feels good to move but I was constantly fighting with the camera and hit boxes to play.

Developer

Thank you for playing, controls definitely need some more work. :)

Very nice entry! Really like the minotaur!
Great grahics and challenging puzzles. Moveing around objects feels unrefined but passable.

Developer

Thank you so much! Really glad you liked it!

Very nice atmosphere, but the slipping while trying to push the blocks kinda drove me crazy

Developer

Sorry to hear that, It would be really helpful to know what you mean by slipping, I agree that sometimes blocks act crazy, but is there anything specific or is it just overall feeling about movement with blocks

When I first played the game I thought I had to push the boxes by walking into them, because I didn't read the controls. Wish it had a proper tutorial, so that wouldn't happen. Great game overall!
