Cool visuals and nice mechanics. The game page has the game canvas a little bit too big and requires zooming out, so I would recommend adding a full screen mode. Also the background sometimes gets confused with the walkable platforms, so I would suggest making it more obvious to distinguish what is background and what not. Other than this, really  liked the "wind" mechanic, which makes the game quite hard! Good job and good luck ;)

Take a look at my game! :)

Will rate yours now :)

Fun game, unlucky for the alpha textures on between of some sprites (such as the door or the gun). Also those look like just png, and break the style of the game. Didn't understand really the game loop, is there a way to "survive" in the enemies section? Or do you just shoot enemies and earn as many points as possible?

Fun game, liked the storm music a lot! I think a feature to remove blocks in case I misplace them would have been nice, but I understand if that's an intended difficulty. Initially the goofy paint graphics made me think it was going to be an unpolished game, but actually it's good! :)

Thanks, and couldn't agree more! There are a lot of games that include having AI as a feature to give life to it (NPCs dialogs for example) and I always wanted to make one myself. Glad you liked it :))

Thanks!! :)

Rated your game! Good job!!!

Really really cool game mechanics!! I loved the atmosphere and the look of the scary human boats trying to fish you. Definetely delivered on graphics and theme! The only downside is the change between "Calm" and "Storm" is too abrupt. It would be nice to see some fog, see the sun go down, or some visual and audio feedback about the change. Also the death and gameover screen are too abrupt aswell. Other than this you nailed the vibe of the game! Congrats and good luck!!

Simple platformer game with not too much depth in mechanics. Main menu could have been improved, maybe having a font and buttons fitting to the whole game pixel art style.

Coins seems to always spawn in the same location (left platform), and the cloud target is way too easy to hit. Also the powerups prompt you with a wall of text with some values in them, and a "multiplier", which should be more gamified or rapresented as some sort of x10 or charged bar. A numeric value makes me think I need to make my own math in the head to calculate if it's a benefit or not. Atleast in the powerup wall of text it informs you of the previous & after amount of points you'll have once using the powerup, so that was a nice quality of life feature.

Finally I think movement mechanics are good but the jump feels a lit too floaty compared to the horizontal speed, making it really easy to aim at the target)

Fun fun fun and addicting games! Immediately reminded me of Tricky Towers. Took me a couple of tries to understand where the waves were coming from and the overall physics of the game. Really liked the in-game artstyle and its humour (word word word word word notice of termination).  Good job!!

Nice concept, especially the whole theme of the game: cartoony monsters, bright colors, etc. Everything matched perfectly. Also the game jam theme fit was evident ;)
Only downsides are figuring out how the game works and how the monsters earn you resources. From the wall of text there doesn't seem to see any explanation, and figuring it out while the storm closes on you is kinda hard. Also the placement of new terrains is a bit weird, as you place new terrain on existing terrain to expand it, which is kinda counter intuitive

Cool concept, especially the checkpoint system which is also the core of the game. Wind swirls are way too unpredictable, and the slow movement makes it kinda frustrating going back to re-lit the candle. Also didn't understand how it fits the theme.

Really fun game! Good job! Kept me engaged up to the 10th lesson. You need to balance the trash you pickup and the path you choose, as the more trash you have the slower you are. Good job!

Nice game, looks like it has a lot of meta despite the short time the jam gave us. Would have made the tutorial a little bit more intuitive (you can kinda soft-block yourself if you immediately buy skills on a tree and don't figure out how to reset them). Really liked the weakness element mmechanic!

Extremely good in presentation! Every detail in the art looked like a released professional game, good job! The idea is really fun, you have to calculate each step to make sure you survive enemies, but also rounds are quick as each turn (you vs the dungeon master) alternate in a fast way. The only downside is it isn't super clear when you attack an enemy, so sometimes if an enemy takes more than 1 hit to kill you'll lose life and don't see any feedback on attacks, making it kinda frustrating as you don't know you are hitting.

Nice art, nice mechanics. Liked the recharging animation, making the character spin the gun. A bit confusing the fact that when you shoot a counter goes up (instead of down, like traditional games, for ammos), I think it was intended for some sort of "overload". Would have been nice an interactive tutorial instead of a text wall, other than this nice arcade style game :)

I didn't really understand this game, I feel like a tutorial would have helped. I was able to equip the turret and spam-place it without any limitation, making the game basically creative-mode.

Comment your game and I'll check it out! In exchange, check out my game aswell!! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2965228

Next couple of days I'm gonna do some travelling, so I'll have quite some time to do reviews. I'll make sure to leave honest and constructive feedback on each game aswell!

glad you had fun!

ciao!

Thanks for the feedback, I definetly have some features in mind that I might add once the submission period ends. Thanks for checking out my game!

thank you!

Thanks! There really isn't a "final", you can try to "lose" in different ways tho. The goal is to survive as many tweets as possible.

I've seen the progress on dev of this game on discord, and I can say, great job! The game feels extremely difficult, but at the same time is super satisfying! Also some mastery is required to understand the pros and cons of different weapons. Good job!

Loved this game! It has a lot of deoth to its mechanics, each new stage feels like a completely new challenge. Good job! The movement is almost addicting ;)

Thanks! :)

Really nice game, and bonus point for it being a team of fellow italians! ;)

I think this is one of the few games that actually deliver the feeling of "Calm Before The Storm". Tidying up a cozy setting beforehand, with a relaxing music, to then figure out what the "Dinner" actually is... Good job guys!

Super cool game! Liked the card mechanic, although it took me a while to figure out that stuff I was fishing could also be equipped as an item.

:))))))) glad you found it fun! :)

:D glad you liked it! :)

Thank you! :)

Thanks! :))))

Thank you! :)

You're close to getting canceled! Consider apologizing to lower your controversy score.

Really really cool game! Background music is super nice. Also the cannon power up was really fun! Would have been cool to see the tutorial more interactive, instead of a wall of text. But other than this good job!

Really nice and frenetic, I think the prep levels are balanced to the point you really need to have a strategy when restocking the store. Really cool!

The road cross sequence was unexpected, and I really felt the feeling of urgency while struggling to go thorugh the cars. Great game, great sound design, great humour, great everything!

Playing this game changed my life. This experience is like being born another time.

Thank you! Yeah, towards the end of the jam I got some ideas about how to give a prompt to the player, like

*you've been dragged in this drama by random_user_123* and you have to go in a back and forth of tweets, trying to clear yourself off the drama, and based on how you do it affects the score. Like a minigame

 Thank you again :)
