How does your game fit the theme?
In short, it follows the story of a robot who lives in peace until his old companions disturb his tranquility. In terms of gameplay, I also give players breaks between rounds so they can calmly collect coins and place the turrets wherever they want.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, never did a tower defense before. But all the assets and sound are external.

Interesting I thought it would be more like a round shooter but it was actually more like tower defense. Not bad, good game!

Something of a tower-defence? Basic idea, good realization, fits the theme. But i found some funny bug.
Even if you don't have money, you can "equip" the turret, because in placement mode turret still will fire at enemies, close to her. 
Also, enemy mechanic is kinda unique to tower defence mechanic

I really enjoyed playing your game! The progression from weak to powerful as you add turrets is a fun mechanic. There were a few hiccups with collecting coins and reloading, but they didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. Great job, and the music was incredibly catchy!

It was fun to play your game! It's a good mechanic that we are weak like in the beginning of Vampire Survivor and get stronger as we add turrets. There some some problem with collecting coins and reloading turrets but it doesn't effect the fun factor so much. Well done!

loved the concept of the tower defence, there is a bug where if you spam the icon you can just place infinite turrets with no cost but a very soild game, nice job :)

I like the robot character and the enemy designs are fairly unique for a tower defense game like this so that is cool. Wish the player could do something more than run around while the turrets do everything but still nice work for a week!

Interesting concept! Is it intended for the player to fly backwards after getting hit? Right now I'm getting teleported, and it feels strange. 

What you can work on in this game is more visual feedback, like when I hit spacebar to start a wave, and I don't see anything happening immediately (because the enemies are still walking forwards) then it's a good idea to notify the player through other means, like UI, or a graphical effect. Or something like just making sure enemies immediately walk into vision.

Another thing I didn't really understand is grabbing the ammo from the box. Sometimes i press the button for it once, and i press a second time, and it doesn't work, then i press a third time, and it does! Is there an internal cooldown? If so, either change it so that button presses always get the expected result, or notify the player of the cooldown through visual feedback!

I think that's all my feedback. Good job on making a game in 7 days! It's really hard, and you did a really good job!

Nice game, but if you press space when holding the turret it places it for no cost (debug tool you forgot to remove perhaps?) - cute designs and vfx though :))

Great job with this! I noticed the coin collection got difficult if they wandered to the edge of the map - maybe a height difference between the player and coin objects? Really well done though for the jam and keep up the good work!

i rly liked the graphics, and the concept is nice! i would suggest adding a gun for the player to carry also. nice game :D

I was running into bugs playing this--I could infinitely spawn the turrets for some reason--but intentionally playing while ignoring that is interesting. Initially weaving through projectiles to pick up coins, until you can eventually build up a safety net feels rock solid. In a game developed in more time, it'd need a lot more variety in both weapons and enemies for it to stick.

Interesting idea of helping to kite monsters in a tower defense game.

Adding more mechanics to reward the player for smart moving (like leading to traps or stacking monsters together) would add a lot to this game, otherwise its quite repetitive and no strategy needed. 

Cute models, controls are in place. 

Matching the theme quite nicely, although having a calm music in building mode would bring the right mood.

I love the little guy! The gameplay is a bit repetitive so didn't spend long with it but it was quite fun. I found out that you can hold the turret even if you can't buy it and it will shoot enemies where-ever you are holding it and if it runs out of ammo you just cancel and reselect so that kind off broke the game but it was fun haha

Fun game

1) cool characters, robots, nice designs

2) Lots of enemies right off the bat, I love when gamejam wave based games start tough right away. Also having enemy variety is good

3) wish I could build and place more turrents immediately

4) found a fun bug (intended???) where if you just hold the turret you are about to build it still shoots for you

5) overall themeing could be better, why are the robots on an island and I can't go into the hosue :'(
