omg small world! hahah glad to hear those are still remembered, made my day! :D

Oooh this is fresh take on the scale theme, I like it! Nice job with all the combos :)

(1 edit)

Great game, I love the style and how polished it looks!! That kind of overlay you have on it is such a cool effect?? Only wish there were more levels, awesome job! :)

I liked the concept here! But like a couple others, I did have a bit of trouble getting started - once I realized I had to select the items at the beginning, the stealth game itself was fun and responsive. The sound when I collided with an enemy actually gave me a little jump-scare at first and that was entertaining LOL. Nice job :D

you're too kind T_T thanks for playing!

I couldn't get too far but I freakin' loved how I looked to my side and saw this ominous nugget shadow hahaha. Funny concept and I love all the takes on "scale"

I adore that the candle ideas for shrinking /growing. The tutorial at he beginning was very polished and I liked out the mechanics were introduced. At some parts, I had a little trouble seeing due to lighting or fixed cameras, but I figured it out at the end! It was a very cute level and satisfying to play, awesome work!!

This is an excellent concept! I got stuck at the rotation puzzle because I couldn't figure out how to maneuver the player to the top of the vertical platform though. Nevertheless, I thought a lot of the mechanics were intuitive (and familiar for those who use design programs!)  I also liked there wasn't too much time lost between dying, so that I can try out a lot of other solutions quickly. Nice work!

Thank you! :D

Scoville scale is a take I haven't seen yet - very creative! I liked the style and art - the 2D sprites (little peppers?) were so cute as they were panicking. Was a little confused about where to go or what my objective was, but I enjoyed the spicy abilities! Fun time :D

These puzzles are so thoughtful and satisfying! I really liked how you had to carefully plan your order of operations to reach the plate. Music was also addicting.Awesome job, let's get that bread!!

thank you, that's great feedback! I would have loved to also add an animation or something that makes the balancing moment more satisfying. will have to save some time for the next jam. thanks again for playing!

Love all the combos! Those descriptions are so cute too... awesome game!

Intuitive and polished! I really liked the directional indicator for scaling - it really made me careful about planning and placement as part of the puzzles.

oh i'm so glad you went and read the descriptions! :D in the text level I tried to convey that wordier descriptions were heavier. And again, amazing work on Crescendo!!

thank you for playing!!

My first few starts were rocky (especially with not realizing the hold-drag at the get-go) but  once I got the hang of it, watching my tower defense was very satisfying. The art and palette are so polished, I really like the logo too! Awesome work!

Like  everyone, I got jump-scared by the mine especially after starting in silence hahaha, but I think that made the game more fun for me! Cool character and fun take on the theme!

... I had to think about what you were referencing LOL, the likeness is unintentional! (Assuming it's the "Karen" and "CEO" from the 4th level hahaha) Thanks for playing!

thank you! :D

I liked the slow panning for the "scale" change and the brief relief whenever I could choose a new power-up. Three lives might be too few for a more casual gamer like me, but I still had a lotta fun!

And was that a custom crumble animation on that stone tablet? Nice details! :D

Adorable game! The music is so chill and really fits the character art and setting. The limited rope was a fun resource to work with along with placement of platforms. Well done!

Fun concept and Huey is adorable! Some of those levels are a bit too challenging for me and I wanted to retry them, but nevertheless, it was fun and fresh to see other levels when failing too. Awesome job!

This was awesome! I would love to play a fleshed out version of this especially with different genres and more abilities. At first I was a little confused because I thought any note within a key that was not yet established were all valid; I think a rule about how cards should be in an ascending scale would have helped me! Appropriate cards being highlighted was a good tip that got me out of that trap though, so I'm grateful for that.

Special shoutout to the the level of detail in the music! Loved the layering of instruments with each card, how songs are in the same key, and the crescendo when you complete the scale. Certain to tickle musician gamers :D Well done!

This was adorable! I wanted to keep playing to see all the floors and little sprites. I liked that you could upgrade the side room in addition to the main floor. Very satisfying overall, only wished there was more chaos and some sound design to accompany the scaling. Awesome work!

This table looks so comfy! I loved all the details in the witchy decor and how the book had this smokey texture. Flipping the pages back and forth really did make me feel like I was following a recipe - I think I only would have liked was to see the book more clearly in phase 2. Awesome work!

lovely style and blue palette to the game - the intro had great atmosphere. The constellations were a little tough to figure out but I liked the idea there.  Nice work!

Thank you! <3

super cute! I loved the art and the variety of fruit I can throw!! something like a accuracy score may have discouraged me from spamming so much haha, but overall I think this is nicely polished especially for a new-to-godot game, awesome job!

that music is FIRE! still jamming out to it. I liked the atmosphere contrast with the subject matter and how you had to consider your shots and size carefully. Gameplay itself may be a little too difficult for me so sadly I was unable to beat cancer, but I still had a lot of fun! Awesome job doing all of it on your own!!

thank you!! it was fun to tweak and figure out my own preferences in the art :)

I love the game sprites and how the controls our outlined! the mecha upgrades were satisfying.

side-note I also like how you organized your game's About Page (and TIL how to change my keyboard settings to AZERTY lol)

Made it to #9 on the leaderboard!! I loved the way your highest score stays retained and how it got visually shook whenever you beat it. (also such a blessing that falling in my own design didn't hurt my score... )I thought the mechanic of trading off build time vs jump time to be very clever and fun. I have no one to blame but myself! Awesome job!!

I wanted to make item descriptions the hint as to what kind of scale system each level used (ex: angel vs evil CEO) but I realized later that the right-click control wasn't as obvious. Learnings for next time! Thanks for playing!!

The randomness was fun and I felt like the game length was a perfect amount of time! I liked how Alice-sama chipped in every now and then also. Just Alice...... just alice....

thank you! I thought about a timer for encouraging  a speed-run but you're right - after the bossa nova music choice, I didn't have it in me! haha

thank you!

I liked the layout for the levels! It made me feel like I was in an escape room. The controls were a little confusing at the start but I got there eventually haha. Nice job!

thank you! I tried to use descriptions from right-click as a hint to figure out the rules and relative weights in other levels, but I realize that this mechanic could have been clearer. learnings for next time! thanks for playing :D

I really like the style and premise! I was confused at the start because the descending musical tone that played wherever I dug (even on shinies) made me think I was doing something wrong but it wasn't until I relentlessly pecked at a shiny spot and accidentally did a "hold" press that it clicked for me. Aside from that, it was nice lil adventure and I particularly enjoyed the dialogue and sound. Squank...
