Thank you! I'm glad the art and narrative resonated! I wanted to add a barrel roll and fire breath so badly but ran out of time. I may choose to update the game with these additions later, though!

I loved the core mechanic of resource allocation. Being able to scale down added loads of strategy.

I had fun! The main mechanic is really clever, and I like the experiment feel to it.

Navigation can be a bit difficult, but the skill improvement and memorization gives this game a fair bit of replayability for a Game Jam game.

A good base mechanic and the aesthetic is great. I'd love to see more elaborate puzzles if you choose to develop this further.

Must CONSUME

31 is impressive! The bats were small, which made them harder to see and hit, but it was not to a frustrating extent. They were fun.

Thanks for such a detailed review! I definitely used reaction time to up the challenge quite a bit. Not only do you slowly approach the edge of the screen in each stage, but, like you said, it gets reduced significantly in stage 4. It was definitely intended to up the difficulty with time.

I used visuals to keep things challenging and simulate Azul's own difficulty seeing and dodging attacks. This is especially the case with the blizzard in stage 3. However, I definitely see how the arrow's size could get frustrating, and I'll keep that in mind going forward! It's no fun if you cannot see the threats at all!

All in all, I'm quite glad you enjoyed the little story I told and the way I told it. Thank you for playing, and for the useful feedback!

Thank you! Narrative games are my jam, so I'm always glad when the story shines. I loved your game, too!

This was a nostalgia bomb for the classic zombie shooters from my childhood. The visual style was chaotic but cohesive, which only added to the hectic nature of the game. I made it to wave 13, with 654 zombies down.

I appreciate it!

That was great. The base mechanic is clever, and the puzzles are super well designed. Each one had multiple paths that seemed right, making it challenging without being frustrating. I'd love to see more levels added after the jam, as I was disappointed when it was finished.

Well, you managed to make me sad, then happy in the span of about 5 minutes. You did a lot in so little time. I love a good story game. Well done!

This was awesome. Admittedly, I'm stuck on level 2, but Repente Vitae is fun enough that I want to keep trying at it. The style is really cool and rather trippy. It helps that I'm a sucker for Latin. Well done, my friend!

This was a lot of fun. It reminds of retro platformers, with your choice of sound effects and all. The spellcasting combat was a lot of fun. Could benefit from a control scheme, but once I figured out what I was doing, I quite liked Sivard, The Lizard Wizard.

Also, I, too, went for a reptile character for the scales ^^

Cool concept, great art style. Well done.

It was so fun to trade a rock for $60 worth of stuff. Bone scepter for the win!

One of the coolest puzzlers I've played in a while. Would love to see this expanded with more levels.

That. Was awesome.

I made it 588 cm before boiling alive. At least I didn't get trapped under a shrimp. Anyway, 10/10

Fun and stylish. I only wish there were more levels!

Wow. This felt like a cross between the old Doom games and a creepy dungeon crawler. Loved the atmosphere. My best so far is floor 9.

Thank you kindly! Games are such a beautiful medium through which to tell stories. I loved yours, as well.

This game is challenging, fun, and hilarious. Super clever idea executed quite well. Also, sound fx were great.

Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed it ^^

I love creepy games, and you nailed the unnerving concept in such a small scope. Also, the cat is best colleague.

This feels like a goofy Papers Please. Very clever, and the art style is fantastic! Quite a unique game.

I don't think I have enough programming knowledge to be the sole programmer on a project of this size, but I wanted to say this looks awesome! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for it.
