I've enjoyed my time with this game. I liked the procedural levels, the atmosphere and the music. The only problem I've had was that the enemy got stuck in a chest and stopped following me. Overall nice entry, congrats!

Very nice game idea. With some good work and polish it can become a pleasant gaming experience. Keep it up!

The game has a very nice atmosphere and pixel art. Really liked the music and how it "faded" back to the menu. It would have been better to let Vlad respawn at a checkpoint though. I understand that he has slept for a while but he moves too slowly! Anyway the game has a solid idea at its base and the dialogues are neat. Overall a good entry, congrats!

Really nice atmosphere and good design of the entity. I think that the game could be enhanced with the addition of some sounds for the steps, and the option to lower the mouse sensitivity. I got lost in the fog, but maybe that's intended because I felt in a creepy mood, although some suggestion in the level design would help to give a better experience to the player. Other than that, I had a nice experience. Congrats for the creepy and immersive entry!

Nice little game. Lovely and effective art style. I wish I didn't have to reload the page to retry the level, as the transition is slow and can lead to a bit of frustration. Good entry anyway, congrats!

Nice game! Pretty solid mechanics, art and audio. I think that the game gets a bit too difficult in night 5. The gameplay was fun though, and I tried multiple times to beat the game because of it. Good job!

Hello, very nice game idea! I really like the cute graphic style and the cozy music. I wasn't able to finish the game because it crashed a bunch of times after falling on the ground, but the gameplay was cool, with a nice use of the wildcards. I didn't get that far, but if there are no checkpoints I think that the game should have them, as well as some tweaking to the camera, to let the player better envision the swing. Anyway I think you put your efforts into the game and it shows. Congrats for the entry, keep it up!

Very fun game! I liked the feeling of the controls and the overall graphics. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the sun appears a bit too often and blinds the player too much. It isn't a big problem though, it just needs of some little twaeking. In the end I was able to complete the game, and I've had good time. It reminds me of the good rage-games. Congrats, nice job!

I really like the camera movement and the arcade feeling of the steering. Adding some blood/special effect when hitting people/cars would make the game feel much better in my opinion. Anyway, it's a fun little game, congrats!

Good audio and very charming/cozy graphics! The idea is quite nice too, and I liked how you used the sun wildcard. The only problem I had with the game was the difficulty. It was a bit hard right from the second level. The controls feel good, and overall the game is a pleasant experience with a pretty ending. Congrats, nice job!

Nice entry, congrats! The audio is fenomenal -I love this kind of music- and the sound effects are very appropriate. The art is fitting and with a bit of polish it would be perfect. I found it a bit hard even on the easy difficulty, but maybe that's just me, I don't usually play this kind of games. Nonetheless, good job!

Good game idea! I really wanted to experience it some more, but at every game I tried I was not able to use more than 2 cards and never managed to capture a monster. Also, without some form of tutorial is hard to figure out the mechanics, and the mouse hover feature could be a little faster. The art is lovely tough, as for the game concept. With a bit of work and polish I think that this can become a rather engaging and fun gaming experience, and I would be happy to try it again. I can definitely see the effort you put into it! Keep it up!

Very nice game idea, very original! I liked the audio and the technicality of the wave dynamics. It's impressive that you were capable of pulling this out of the box in the jam timeframe. I think that some earlier levels could be more forgiving, to let the player get some experience on the waves adjustment. The only part that I did not like was the UI, as it was hard to figure out the changes that I was making. Maybe giving the player the possibility to view the slope from different perspectives would have reduced this issue. Nonetheless, the game is quite unique, and you did a great job in experimenting with this idea, congrats!

This is a very nice little game. I really like the concept and the pixel art, despite its simple appearance, does its job quite well. The only downside I think is that there isn't much feedback on the player actions. Some simple effects or audio changes would have been a nice touch, as well as some kind of music/ambience for immersion. Apart from that you have done a very good job. Congrats on your entry!

Wow, nice idea! The audio is quite nice, but sadly I've had some problems with the blocks clipping in the wall or in eachother. When everything worked tough, the gameplay was fine and it was fun to search for the right way to climb. Also,  the leaderboard idea is solid for a game of this genre. Congrats, very creative!

Good job! The artstyle and the audio are captivating. The gameplay feels very good, but I wished that there were some enemies to shoot at. Also the menu questioning the player with the red buttons was a nice touch. Nice entry, congrats!

Hi! Thank you for playing and for the precious feedback. Yes, the enemies follow a movement order. When designing the levels I always kept in mind a "move hierarchy", for examples goblins move always first, or gnomes move last (with the player exception). In theory, if nothing strange happens, all levels work this way.

I wanted to implement a list that showed which enemy moves first, second, third... etc, but as I didn't have much time I preferred to polish more "critical" parts of the game. As for the last level, it was intended that it could be possible to block the enemies (as a hidden shortcut), but I think you are right when you say that I should have said/shown to keep an eye on the enemy movement, and I understand that you felt it was a bug. If I'll choose to expand upon this game idea, I will keep this in mind. Thank you!

Regarding the movement speed in the later levels I agree that the movement speed can feel slow. In hindsight I could have added a x2 speed button or something similiar.

Yes, I played on the browser so maybe that's the cause of the problem. The raycast should fix the first issue, I agree.

Thank you a lot! I'm very happy that you liked the game this much!

Very nice game, I liked the graphics and how you have used the shaders. The music was also quite good, but the sound effects can get annoying when there are multiple instances of them. I was not expecting to see this kind of game, so it was a nice surprise. It reminded me a lot of Orcs Must Die. The gameplay overall feels great and loops quite well, but I think that the possibility to rotate the camera would have helped the player to place the traps more carefully. Very good job!

Very charming art and good music! I'm personally not a fan of this kind of story, but I personally appreciate the effort and the meaning you put behind it. I liked the ideas of the puzzles, although i've had some problems with the controls, because I often moved two ghosts instead of just the one I wanted to really move. As for the final room, I've tried to press the escape button multiple times, but nothing happened, so I suppose that was not the solution. As any good gamer would do, I pushed every button on the keyboard, until I accidentaly quit the game, oops!  Maybe I've pressed the right button? I think the idea was nice, though. Congrats on the entry, good job!

The rally mechanic was very well tought and original, good use of the wildcard. I think that adding a special attack to the sun enemy could have enhanced the uniqueness of him. The game is very fun, I've enjoyed the simple sprites and the humorous story. Nice entry, congrats!

I'm happy to read that you liked the gradual introduction of the mechanics. I was unsure regarding their presentation, as I didn't have time to do a more efficient tutorial.  Thank you for playing!

Thank you very much!

The game feels good, but it is definitely too short. I think that adding at least the final cutscene would have been a nice touch. The concept is good, and the humor on point, but it needs to be expanded upon.

A game with a nice idea. I think that the game would benefit from having the vampire regen his health when he is in the shadows, as the timing can feel a bit harsh. It is a nice base to expand upon. Congrats for the entry!

I've reached 51 hours. The game idea is really nice, but I didn't feel like the difficulty was increasing while playing. I think that adding more levels would enhance the game, along with some nice atmospheric music to complement the audio e good graphics. Very cool game, nice entry!

The graphics of this game are very neat. I think that the jump could be a little higher and smoother, but overall the game has a very nice atmosphere, a nice music and the puzzles were well tought. Congrats!

Nice job! The atmosphere of the game is right on point thanks to the graphics and the audio.  An animation that rotated the screws while drilling would have been nice to give player some feedback. Overall a small, but very immersive game, congrats!

Very nice concept. Good job! Nice work on the sound effects.

Impressive twist of the chess formula. Really liked the humor and the sounds. It's a very polished game. I think that having the option to view a list containing the movement of the various pieces would have been a bonus, improving the accessibility of the game for those who don't know the rules of chess. Great job!

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed. I agree that there is room for improvement on the death of the player.

I loved the artstyle and the inspiration from Greek mythology. The game has a very cool gameplay, but I wished it was explained better. In detail, I wasn't able to visualize a strategy to gather the necessary tokens to escape. I tried bribing many times, but in the end I never had the resources to trade with them without taking too much damage. Maybe I'm missing something. A part from that, I feel like this game would be a hit if expanded upon. It gave me the vibes of Slay The Spire. Very good job and congrats for the awesome idea!

Thank you so much!

Hi! The game has a very nice idea, but I think that you should have given more hints and feedback to the player. I didn't know if I was making any progress while playing. You did a good job with the audio, so maybe you could build something on top of that, while keeping accessibility in mind. The 1-bit pixel art style was good, especially when the lights come into play, but at the beginning was very hard on the eyes, maybe more diverse tiles would have helped to give some contrast. Congrats for experimenting with this idea, good job!

I really liked the animations and the art! The game feels quite easy though, maybe more diverse obstacles would have made the level more challenging. As others pointed out, I think that there should have been some ways to slow down the fox, giving the player a bit of agency and control. You did a good job overall! Congrats!

A very nice experience. The game feels polished and accessible, and the idea of a reverse lane-based tower defence game is quite original. I wished that the game had more puzzle levels, as there many types of enemies and good mechanics that I think don't get explored that much, despite being well executed. I liked a lot the design and the general art direction of the game. Great game overall, good job!

Good game! It reminded me of Carmageddon in some ways. The music was really on point. I did not have problems with the keys, but I think the machine gun should have had more effects to make it feel more impactful. Nice work nonetheless!

Nice job! I liked the idea of having multiple actions per turn, and the abilities were engaging and fun. Maybe it would be better  to disable the turns after killing all the enemies, to give the player more freedom of movement. I also liked the music. Good game!

Very nice game! The artstyle is captivating and the controls feel very smooth. I liked how you managed to use the shadows, but sometimes it felt that the vampire died to fast. The addition of collectables was neat, and the level design enjoyable. Great job!
