Very cool game that is gonna make me need therapy. Wish there was some kind of win condition/score/timer to make the endless gameplay feel rewarding. The ability to punch while moving feels too easy as well as the low health of the enemies, which get annihilated pretty much immediately after coming onto the screen in a couple of punches/acorns. The camera also seemed to only follow player 1 so if they died it was stuck.

Very nice lighting and environment. Camera was good in places but especially under the bridge, it is hard to see, very nice beam modelling though :). Adding some variety in enemies, level design would make it feel more immersive. Very difficult to lose since the player has a lot of health and upon death the player falls through the floor. The player is also able to just walk through the level so maybe limit progression until previous enemies are dead. Maybe an exit button on main menu or at the end of the game.

It was very fun but sometime it was hard to tell who was winning and losing and it was hard to hit each other. Adding a win screen would make me feel better as a human being. The Sticky weather felt annoying sometimes.

These animations look amazing and smooth. The attacks feel great to hit. I just wish there were more combos rather than that spin kick every move seems to chain into, also after said spin kick the character jolts back to their idle stance, so maybe adding an animation to bring them slowly back to their idle stance would make it feel more smooth. Also maybe a way to exit to the main menu after the winner is announced since it feels weird having to open the pause menu and then return to the menu. It also seems like there may be some gaps in the floor in the back, which can be distracting.

Double Jump feels very inconsistent to input sometimes, it feels like you have a very narrow window to input the second jump and a lot of exits to the next room, it required me to double jump so I sat there spamming jump. When facing away from a wall and pressing towards the wall, the animation for walking away from the wall plays and if I'm not mistaken, the sword is also part of the player's hitbox which feels very big because of this, and enemies feel like they have too much health. I like the deflect move I wish you could reflect the sniper shots at them. Maybe some kind of level win condition at the end rather than a random drop-off. Some music would also make this game awesome.  I love the menu animation and art for this game though. Awesome work, would love to play this again if these changes were made.

Enjoyable game with great animations and art. The 3 pieces of feedback I would give is that I feel the game would be more fun if the fight ended after a few rounds and presented a winner. Second, you can stand on top of another player and attacks still hit from above and below so maybe check the hitboxes. Thirdly, I think putting the controls somewhere in the game or on the game page so players know how to play rather than having to figure out the controls makes it more enjoyable. Great work though

I don't think the game was uploaded correctly because i don't see how to launch it in the files. There is only two files in there and they are PDE files?

I managed to replicate it, I've been having similar collision issues while I was making it, thanks for bringing it up

It doesn't crash now but I can't do anything when it loads. What are the inputs?

This game is cute and very enjoyable, obviously there's some physics issues but the other comments have gone into that enough i think. I wish there were more levels but for the timeframe you worked under, it was really good

Interesting, did the explosion particles at the end play or did you just fly through the barrels? Could you add some more details on how you did this?

Yeah i was thinking about adding some thruster particles but i didn't get around to it in time, thanks

I see a couple of others that also think this, we wanted to end it quickly with a bang but I do think a win screen would have been better, so we'll keep this in mind for the next game. Thanks

Personally i thought the length of the ship was fine but that might be because I played a lot while testing, so i'll keep that in mind.

I also agree with you about the death sequence however I wasn't sure how to stop that because the player and camera are static but the level itself moves, this was because i was having camera issues with the player moving.

I forgot to add a death-box on the ceiling if players go to high.. Welp I'm noting that down for next time thank you.

Thank you so much for the feedback, we really appreciate it.

Good game.

The only two pieces of feedback i have is that the game gets extremely hard after the 7th fish, and i think it's hard to progress past that. The other thing is that when you catch a fish, the fish circle is still inside the catch area so if you spam space bar enough it's easy to catch multiple fish in one go. Was this intentional? If i was to offer some feedback on the second part, I would respawn the fish circle away from the catch area.

I love this game, the only thing i would say is that the Depth text becomes quite hard to see when underground.

I like the random generation of obstacles and the high difficulty on some obstacles.. unless it's not meant to be and i'm just bad..

My only problem with the game is that some of the triangle obstacles in the ceiling feel way too low down to get under with the movement system.

Hitboxes are big and it's difficult to get around the obstacles because they are so close together,

The background does not scale properly for a windows Game

Going up feels very slow and in some cases you need to spam click to get over obstacles

Music is slightly too fast when playing songs

Very cute aesthetic but had a problem with the background shifting around when adding in new obstacles.

i enjoyed this game but in the second level i encountered a soft lock that caused me to not turn around, maybe adding some kind of reload level option to the pause menu could fix that.

Collision for obstacles didn't work

I like the creepy atmosphere

Crashed on startup?
