Yeah the original game was going to be an explore to find new parts kind of game, but that was way too much for us so we had to roll back a few things, guess it didn't make all that much sense to keep it around anymore, thanks for playing!
I kept getting stuck in the walls, and the controlls would just freeze up. Good job submitting something, it's very impresive you can make something like this in scratch!
I love the game, it's nice and simple but a tonne of fun. I think if the pan had a bit more roughness/friction it would feel even better. That said absolutely amazing!
I really liked the idea, definetly very unique. It takes a minute to get good at estemating how the dice will land but after you can really start going. I think this would definetly be a game that could be expanded to add other effects when landing on the other sides of the die.
The shooting feels very nice, but I think having it randomly shoot means I end up just running away from monsters without much real control or skill involved.
Fun game, I really like the feel of the shooting. I feel like it could be cool to expand the wholde dice mechanic so that there's more of a reason to interact further with the system between waves.
Took me a second to realize what was going on and not just fall of the die, but after that was really smooth game play. A bit hard to realize where you are in relation to the gem when jumping but other than that very nice!
The animation is absolutely amazing. It really felt like you didn't have much control as a player, you're esentially just watching the player go through and clicking a few buttons but it feels quite disconnected.
At first I thought it was just a really easy game of just shoot to kill, untill it clicked that if you shot a 5 with another 5 for example you gained points. Interesting game mechanic and definetly made it a bit harder to play. That said if I ever had to many dice close to me I would just spam the s and left keys to clear everythign up before trying to aim for points again.
The music is amazing, and I really dig the dice animation. It's fun to run around for a few levels but get's a bit repetetive after a while, with more time something like an upgrade system would add a new dimention to the game.
It was an interesting take on the theme, it adds a layer onto the rng that makes you feel like you have some level of control over what's coming. My only comment is that I couldn't figure out a way of skipping my turn so on my first run where I ran out of chips I just had to refresh the page to start over.
I wasn't really sure what I was meant to be doing, I just tried clicking everything with no real luck, a short description would've been nice. That said I really love the hand drawn look of the game.
The visuals are really amazing. I love the little way the character boobles, and all of the animations. That said the wall jump is really hard to get right, which makes it quite frustrating when you need to hit 3 or 4 consecutive jumps.
