This looks very promising - as always. I can’t wait to follow the constant updates.

Cool game! Although I’m usally not a big fan of card games, it was quite addictive :)

How amazing is this game?! The animation is so goofy and fun, all the game mechanics are incredably well combined and the music fits extremely well. Awesome job!

Really cool game and art style. Well done!

It’s very challenging with the limited hints like other commenters said.

I loved the art style and it feels like a very polished experience. It was a lot of fun to look for clues, too. First time I got shot, I was really surprised because I thought everything went well.

Great job, congrats!

Interesting game and mix of game mechanics. Once I understood how to do the battles it was quit fun.

Cute game and controls feel good! The permadeath is very brutal, though :)

Congrats!

Wow, what an emotional little story. I really enjoyed this game. It was polished, sound and music was very fitting and overall such a pleasant experience. Very well done!

I like the controls, graphics and the premise. Had a hard time to figure out the objective, but cool game nonetheless.

I think it’s a very challenging puzzle game and I really like it.

As others have noted, it takes a while, with a lot of trial and error, to figure out the controls and objective. A tutorial and/or description on the game page would really help.

Otherwise, very solid entry. Congrats!

Fun game with very cool sound and vfx. Only issue I had is that I suck at these games and found it very difficult :) But that’s on me.

Well done!

Very fun experience and I escaped :) It’s cool that everything is procedually generated.

I found it tricky to pick up items on the upper shelves but otherwise very polished. Congrats!

I love these types of games and you gave it a wonderful twist. I can see how limiting the color palette gave you ideas for the game mechanics.

Very well done!

I really liked the game mechanic and it was easy to understand what to do.

Sometimes I found it a bit challenging to navigate around because the player immediately decelerates upon touching any walls.

Overall very fun game though!

Wow! You really made a fatastic game. The puzzles weren’t too hard for me (except the second T). But is was very well paced and such a fun experience. I liked the hammer man mini game :)

The password crumble annoyed me a little bit though, because I always thought I had to do something with it.

Well done!

Would love feedback on my puzzle game - and of course I’m going to try yours as well :) https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2024/rate/3136757

Thanks for playing my game!

It’s acutally a “real” constructed language called “toki pona” and I try to explain the rationale after the final puzzle.

Oh I see, so apparently the 2. HINT is what I was missing. I always typed something like “does it work now?”

Such a fun game! It had so many mechanics and felt like a completely polished game ready to be published.

Good job on showing the input hints again throughout the levels.

Very well done and probably the best entry so far!

This game impressed me a lot. The artwork is very well crafted.

The first room felt ordinary, but then I started to get afraid of the next rooms. The changing faces are also a lovely touch. It kept me going - even when the last room suddenly added another 12 questions :)

Great work!

Cool concept! I didn’t get to the tutorial at first, so it took me a while to understand the game mechanics.

The graphics and music are cute and it really did remind me of the Wii :) Nice work!

Very fun platformer! It took me a while to realize that there is a hidden path to the left - felt kind of stupid afterwards.

I love the ghost mechanic for tips and overall it feels like a very polished game. Well done!

Very cool game! It must have taken a long time to get all the logic coded.

The tips in the comments really helped to get things started quickly. Unfortunately, I got stuck after a while and didn’t get a response in the chat. But I’ll try again later.

Well done!

This has been such a cool experience, thank you for making this game!

I love the art style and the mechanics. Working quite literally stressed me out :)

Very strong submission, congrats!

The graphics are awesome and it’s overall quite the relaxing experience.

Great work!

Thank you so much! I’m glad that people like the integrated sitelen pona and it actually helps them to solve the puzzle.

This is so cool. I love the game mechanic (reminds me of A Short Hike) and always wanted to try making a game with it.

You did a great job with the graphics and it’s overall very satisfying!

Very cool with the theme interpretation. I especially liked that starting from the 2nd level I was really into the speed run aspect.

I enjoyed the music as well!

You are an absolute inspiration in putting so much dedication into your work. Congrats on this achievement!

What a lovely little game!

Thanks for your kind words! I might contact you again, depending on how Steam Next Fest works out. And yes, please add it to your portfolio :)

I really like your music and I’m planning to use it in my current hobby project. I’m about to release a trailer using the song “The Tech Show” and I’d like to credit you at the end. Is “Music by Andrea Baroni” fine or do you prefer I’d use Cyberleaf Studio?

I loved the game. It starts so simple and gets challenging very quickly. I like the different types of enemies that you managed to bring into the game. Great job!

Quite fun and cute little game. Congrats!

Really fun game, congrats! I almost made it on the first run.

This is so simple yet extremely fun. I really like the slow-motion effect and this moment when the ball rolls very slowly towards the star. I have nothing bad to say about this game - it simply works and is a great example of a polished game for a jam. Great job!

Wow, it took me like forever to figure out the first level - but I did it! Others have already commented on some of the gameplay issues. Overall I think it’s a really nice concept and a fun little game. Great job!

The idea is certainly good but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get through the first round. Maybe I didn’t figure out the pattern of the rocks, so it might be on me :) But still nicely done for a jam entry.

Very fast-paced game and actually a nice distraction for a couple of minutes. I would add some power-ups or something to make it more interesting. Also I found that getting stuck below a platform lets you keep killing enemies quite easily. But overall nice job for a short jam.
