How does your game fit the theme?
Your conversation choices start off calm, but as you get angry, your options change to be more aggressive and the conversation becomes chaotic.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
no, we used pre made art assets and some unity packages.

this is so relatable haha, but why do I always get the breakup end :(( is there a good end? or is the breakup the good end? xD

Oh, cool! Another game where the storm is the rising tension coming from withheld anger over a dinner. I love how they met in an anger management class and apparently learned very little. The player character did feel like a jerk, but she wasn't exactly nice either. I sometimes pressed space to speed up the text, but accidentally pressed a dialogue option instead, might want to prevent that from happening. The art and dialogue was pretty nice.

I like the concept! It was a cool mechanic to try and figure out how best to tread on eggshells and avoid upsetting her. Good job!

The game looks incredible! congratulations on the submission

This is a really nice incorporation of the theme. And the mechanic with actually waiting and "taking a deep breath"... love it

Great job!

Great use of the theme in the literal sense of a conversation! Some nice but not too different endings, but it does test your thought process if you’re ever in this situation (which I think a lot of people do). Nicely executed!

cool concept! and i loved the different choices being unlocked as time went on.

this was painful for me to play bc i diddnt mean any of it 😭

good game tho 👍

Interesting game, I liked the "time" mechanic when choosing dialogue options, which adds depth

i liked the addition of timed choices for dialogue, it really does add to the tension! i also love the painterly style for the girlfriend sprite. i don't think i got all the endings but i'll be sure to revisit and try for more!!

gave me doki doki vibes, especially when i thought she was about to stab me! really fun!

Started out as a nice peaceful dinner date and suddenly red flags strarted popping up out of nowhere.

10/10 would take my girlfriend to Chillis to dump her again.

This conversation made me feel tense and awkward, which I'm assuming was the intention. I felt like I was in a Chili's watching a couple argue. Gameplay-wise, I like the spin on timed dialogue choices unlocking as you wait, especially for the metaphor of taking a deep breath and being patient. Honestly quite a good representation for controlling emotions.

the writing is good, you can tell that these two have history. a long, long history full of arguments. really good game!

I got 3 different endings, some of them are pretty intense! It was fun and i like the artwork

Loved the artwork on this! I also got the feeling of it being a tense conversation but as a very subtle, slow build up to it. One thing that would be nice is the ability to fast progress on dialogue rather than waiting for it to render, but I understand that sort of adds to the build up - really good stuff!

Love the visual novel! Great dialogue choices - not sure I've reached every ending but it's well written :)
