As it's hard to tell the difference in the character sprites?

Thank you! We've noticed the jumping problems too but didn't get around to fix it during the jam..

Thank you for liking our game!

The writing is great with both the storyline and making the world comes alive. Using recoloured assets is definitely a good idea for a RPG maker game. I'm not sure about other limitations of RPG maker but the one thing I can think of to make it plays a lot better is to involve the combat with the writing? Using the enemy behaviour to foreshadow the ending would be a great way to add more to the world and make the combat less repetitive.

Thank you for liking our game! I'm glad you think the colour and soundtrack work well with the game.

I'll consider your feedbacks if we are going to further develop this game. Some of the level and character controller definitely needs some fine tweaking. Like that bug you said. It's actually an anti-cheat feature so the side on character can't ride the top down character like an elevator. Maybe there'd be a better solution if we got more time.

I'd say this is one of the best in this jam for the visual aspect. The atmosphere went crazy! I would not expect this to be anyone's first game if you don't mention it.. It's so good.

The safe zone idea is so good! It made the puzzle a lot less frustrating but still not too easy. I played the browser version and the little guy on the title screen disappeared when i went full screen.. That's definitely not a issue for a jam game though. Such a good game!

I really appreciate the tutorial! It still didn't take away the panic when I started playing but not feeling clueless like for some of other entries is definitely a plus.

Thank you! We'll definitely consider your suggestions if we decides to work on it more after the jam.

Those holes are supposed to be lava on the floor if you are talking about those red tiles top down character can't pass. They were animated water-ish tiles which would have made it a lot more different but Unity decided that nah, animated tiles doesn't work in builds :( But yeah I probably could have made something else for that tile. There might be more levels coming if we feel like working more on it because we only made half of what we brainstormed haha. Thanks for liking our game!

I'm really happy to hear you like the level designs :D I probably could have made some harder levels near the end but a jam is not quite the time to brew on that haha. And I personally think it's better to let the player know how the mechanic works before putting it into a proper puzzle than letting the player guess. Maybe I played too much portal..

Thank you for liking our game! it's weird that you encountered that bug.. Sorry about that!

Thank you! It took waay too long to figure out something to indicate the which trigger opens which door haha.

I'd really like to see if there can be harder puzzles out of this concept. But it's a great effort given the short amout of time you had to work on this.

I really love this concept! There's the perspective change and different abilities matched with the colours. I'm not sure if that's the case though but it seems the different perspective  works as like a sectioned drawing? Green makes it jump higher, cyan can walk through and red kills the player? I think it would be a great puzzle game if player can understand these concept more easily instead of having to guess all of them.

Geometry puzzles are always so good! And the flat colour fits the mechanic too as the level gets flattened into a 2d surface.

This is so good for a game jam game! The simple visual style is clear enough to tell different elements apart, and the little details when player jumps and background added so much polishing to the game. It is a bit frustrating to get softlocked and had to restart the level 3 multiple times while using a control completely opposite to what I'm used to but the gameplay is definitely there.

I love how you separated the two vertices of a usual 2d platformer controls! That changed the tone of the game dramaticly too which is a very fun experience.
