Pretty neat little shoot-em-up with rogue-like progression.

Railgun is OP. I got to a build where I was shooting nonstop and between passive regeneration and extra ammo on rolls, I was unstoppable.

My main gripe with the game is that it doesn't particularly fit the theme of the jam. "Roll of the dice" is taken literally, as the player (dice) rolls, but you could have changed the dice with a chicken, or monkey, or whatever, and it wouldn't really change the game much.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Though if you choose the "random" button on the weapon screen, you get a random weapon every time you roll. This was the main mode at first, but we ended up giving the choice to choose your weapon. Didn't give the button a description though, so I wouldn't be surprised if no one knew about it.
Sounds like you got pretty far. Definitely farther than me, lol. Do you remember how long you lasted?

Ohhh changing the gun at roll would fit the theme more, but I think it would have made me sad since I tailored my choices of powerups for the gun I had haha. Dang, sorry I don't. It was a good while. Probably like 5 minutes of game time. I wish I took a screenshot of the final score. Good luck on the jam :)

I wasn't expecting the card upgrades, and they added a lot to it on top of the already diverse weapons. All of the enemies were great and their attacks felt varied and fun to interact with as well. Really impressive work!

Each weapon type changed the playstyle and the card upgrades were interesting. Kept me in it until I had tried every weapon and then a bit more. So, good job!

I liked this one! Nice variety of weapons! Great work!

This was fun.  Trying to collect enemy bullets is a neat twist on this sort of game, and I like the variety of weapon types.  I think the bullet size, speed, etc. were all pretty fairly balanced and the difficulty was reasonable.  I feel like there needs to be more feedback when losing a life, but that's not a huge issue.  Good work overall.

Nice power-ups! I very much like the little touch of the health UI disappearing when you're not getting hurt.

Getting upgrades in this game is the best implementation I've seen yet in this jam. There's a risk reward factor, it relates to the theme, and there are lots so I kept wanting to keep playing to unlock more! I agree with others that just add some juice providing feedback and you're golden

Nice little bullet-hell-haven upgrade top down shooter. Lack a little bit on the feedback and juiciness side. But has a lot of content and charm in the presentation. Nice work guys. Keep at it.

Great game y'all! It took me a bit to understand the core mechanic but once I did I had a blast. Y'all did a great job giving your game an identity with the style and enemies.  There was a ton of content and that helped make me want to replay when I died. Some feedback is to be careful with how you signal to the player positive and negative things. I saw the cherries and assumed they were good so I tried to pick them up. It's not a huge problem but something to think about.  The other thing is just player feedback is super important in top down shooters specifically. taking damage and low ammo are the two main ones I can think of. Other than those minor things you've made a great cohesive experience that I had a blast playing! good work!

Lots of variety for shot types, and the mechanic to roll through bullets is really clever!

The game is even difficult so you just want to try again and again, good job!

Fun game - I liked the risk / reward of having to roll through enemy bullets to reload, that was a really smart idea! I also like how the card choices add variety to each run. Great stuff :)

I enjoyed the little gun twirls and liked the idea of rolling through bullets to get some of your own.

I do wish that there was more control over the player character during the roll though. The roll is quite long and you are very locked into it.

at first I thought it would be like those game that the game are just too easy, and the game will be repetitive, but actually the game are really  really fun, it kind of like a rouge like game, and the dodging mechanic are really cool, it also fit the theme that the dice are literally rolling. The game is also pretty balance. I think it cool idea that you can dodge into the bullet to get more bullet. and you need to dodge to gain bullet, because now you need to get ammo while also not dodging into enemy/bullet. Love this game, art are also pretty cool, sfx are nice. And lastly I'm surprise this game are made in a game jam super polish.

At a first glance, I didn't think it will be this enjoyable and fun. I really like the option of choosing different guns so that it makes for a great experience.

That's my sort of thing. Choosing weapons, picking synergetic abilities. Overall a very nice bullet hell shooter (also very polished)!

Really fun use of the theme, im really impressed with how much content is in this game. The rolling to collect ammo mechanic was really well done, and it made for some really interesting encounters. Great game all around.
