I really like the mining session, but I feel like it becomes repetitive as time goes on. The fights don't matter that much since all the enemies are 1 shot anyways. But, a very interestingly weird concept. I haven't encountered any bugs. The thing is I was expecting to play only for a bit, but I end up leveling my worm to Max level... Well done people!

I see where that face on your profile came from. Seems more like after a week of game deving your head just combust! Cool game, I love the art style.I feel like the game was a bit unclear at first, but once I got the hang of things I felt like the game was too short. Overall, you have done a good job!
I really like this game it's very simple but it works well! I do have some suggestions. So, I'm guessing you've used Godot for this project, but if not you can find your engine's specific way of fixing it. If not that's alright!
- Diagonal movement is fast: I'm not sure if it's a feature you've decided to include but, if you press W+D it's faster than just pressing D or W.
var Direction : Vector2 = Input.get_axis("A", "D", "W", "S").normalized()
2. Music: I'm not sure if you've made it louder, but during the later levels the music kept getting louder and louder.
These are just some minor issues, but I still enjoyed the game, it was really fun to play. Wish you the best!
Ah back from cheesing the game a bunch I can say the wind mechanic is broken hheheheheee well well well let me tell you this cheese. I would be sad if it gets fixed but I think balancing the game out would be a good idea!
So you can use the wind by earning coins 2 coins I believe. Well if you have 5 coin mines maxed out (See where this is going?). You can basically perma-stall them. And use your archers to dash into the backlines exploding those TNTs and rain destruction hehehe.
Final boss? What boss I saw a horde of TNT, well then bye bye boss. Archer + Perma stall + TNT = one of the best cheese I've ever experienced.
Reply: Thank you, to be honest I love to see game developers come up with great ideas! And I mean hey... I can also make games soo 👀
I'm not a person you should listen to, I mean just a random person on the internet, but if making games inspiring people makes you happy. Go indie!
Now that the game is playable... I got so immersed in it that I kept on playing for many rounds. Wonderful I love the storm mechanic so much. Wonderful job. Most playable and polished game up till this point. And with such a complex mechanic too. Honestly wish you the best of luck and I'll donate to you. Also by any chance are you going to keep working on this game?
Yeah, on that note I forgot to connect the reset function to when the game ends and yeah I should have made it clearer about just clicking and holding rather than furiously clicking!
As for understanding the theme I understand how It wasn't too obvious. My interpretation was that you grow a tree calmly before a storm hits, but as you say it wasn't fully finished so it lead to some confusion. Thank you so much for taking the time to analyze the game!
I do believe that the game is hard, and I haven't made it clear about what to do. I' not sure if you've noticed there was a way to extend the time in the tech tree, but that's alright I'm glad you've tried your best! Same with the clicking and dragging I might have not done a good job at making it clear!
I love me some bullet hell games! This one is really polished, and you can see the shine in it. The art style is wonderfuland it fits well with the 8bit sound effect. If only it was longer :(
Apart from that, it sadly didn't fit the theme that well. I can see remnants of the boss may be fitting, but didn't really shine as much as the other aspects of the game.
I love the tree monstrosity that I've made to save the village hahaha. I have really high hopes for this one. It's very polished, the art style and the sound effects work flawlessly with each other. The color pallet also adds to the feel of the game. Really enjoyed the game. Really hope to see this game getting featured! Wonderful job people.
