I really enjoyed the art style and concept! The morph animations were great, though I felt the transition between the smallest and largest sizes could be a bit quicker. Additionally, I have one small nitpick: I found the tutorial text a little challenging to read because its color was too similar to the walls/background. Overall, great work, keep it up!
This was great. The controls felt good and the seemless tutorial that teached the player one thing at a time just as they happened was great. This was really good. Good job
Some great art, the animations between state are especially well done.
Love the art, audio and general atmosphere of the game! Gameplay itself was a lot of fun and smooth, though I agree with the other comments that I felt all the controls were geared towards one hand (my right hand kinda just sat there awkwardly lmao)
This is a fun game. I found the 1 and 2 buttons for scaling a bit hard. But I think it's only me so that might not be an issue. I loved the style of this game. The character controller is smooth. I am curious to see what you do with this next. Well done!
Gorgeous atmosphere and art. I particularly loved the transform animations, and the attention to detail with the footstep noises changing.
It looks like remappable controls were on your roadmap and just didn’t get done in time, so apologies if this is already stuff you’ve thought about, but I didn’t like 1-2-3 as the buttons for size switching. I think that some way of sizing up/down (perhaps even with W and S, or with keys on the other hand, e.g. J/K/L or arrow keys) would have been more intuitive. I found myself sizing wrong a large percentage of the time.
I think a lot of the jumps were too hard for level 1, but given you only had one level and wanted to show off the different challenges I suspect you are aware. One suggestion I have though is perhaps to give the big guy a very small horizontal boost. The jumps I found the most frustrating were jumps as the big robot where you had to clear a horizontal gap or avoid wires on the edge of a platform and then land on the platform. In my opinion it would feel better if you could land somewhat centrally, but I usually just landed on the platform with a foot in those cases.
Overall a very neat platformer that has a lot of potential!
I loved the art and feel of the game. The design and animations of the different forms were so cool and well done. The gameplay was also really fun, changing between the different obstacle to tackle different stuff. I would suggest adding a bit more options to the controls, I was using only my left hands for all of the keys. Apart from that, great game!, I would love to see more levels. Awesome work!
I like the implementation of scaling into different forms to traverse and platform. The animation are really well done and I do believe that the 3 forms fit really well. I can really feel the impact of the hits when I got hurt. It simply got a little too tight at the end and I died too many times. Maybe make it a little more forgiving?
This was a lot of fun! There weren't a lot of mechanics, but those that were there were all well-explored. I would suggest in the future to pick a more ergonomic set of default keybinds - it might just be me, but I find it quite uncomfortable to have to do everything with one hand. I much prefer if one hand does the movement while the other does the actions (the popular choices from what I've seen are either arrow keys + Z/X/C, or, slightly less commonly in my experience, WASD + J/K/L). That's mostly just my opinion, though. I enjoyed what I played of this game, though I wish there was a bit more of it; about half of it was the tutorial section! A second level would've gone a long way. Still a fun game, though! Good work on this :)
Game look and sounds gorgeous and has amazing atmosphere. My only issue are some jump where you have to jump pixel perfect to make the jump. For example there are some jumps where you need to coyote jump in order to make them. I think coyote jump is more for helping player to make jump when he forgets to press the button on platform and not for making game more difficult. So every jump should be possible from platform you are standing on.
But that's only a small issue and rest of the game is well done and fun to play.
I like the idea although something feels missing not sure what maybe fighting some bugs (other robots) or something
Dude, try and get some more ratings ! Your game is a hidden gem. I liked the precision platforming. The big guy was pretty clunky to control (I guess that's the point) But it seemed like the bits with the small dude were easier and probably more fun to develop
I liked the pixelart! The character looks great! :) Nice that you can swap between sizes!
Fun game, loved the art and especially loved the transform animations.
