This is really cool! A great concept and its made well! Sadly i got stuck only a bit near the bottom and couldn't find any routes anywhere to use instead since they were all blocked off

i tried making my roots as big as possible to bypass the rocks but it did not work and so i was unable to continue

it is with a tear in my eye that i say goodbye to this tree that i have built for it shall never have its roots reach the vast reservoir of water that lies at the bottom of the screen

the sword does work it just does a lot less damage than the gun

at the bottom of the itch page there are spoiler messages that show the game's map and a small guide- the seeds are bought at a shop thats a little out of the way in a small building similar to the house you spawn in

This is really nice! The visuals are really clean and I was immediately drawn in by them! The mechanic of having your hp as your ammo is neat and certainly ramps up the difficulty!

This was really cool! I enjoyed how fast the character felt!

I feel like maybe a bit more of a tutorial (outside of the bits that show when you die... that was helpful though) may be necessary to help people understand the mechanics a bit more

Yeah this is what i meant when I said that it sometimes doesn't work in browser- I have absolutely no clue what the problem is but for some people it does that horrifying thing and for others it works perfectly fine

This is nice! I like the gameplay loop and audio a lot! The crowd like jumping as you pose in the big mode is a really nice touch

This is really cool! Like REALLY cool! I love the building/Tetris mechanic!

I accidentally sealed myself in a box though because I wasn't paying any attention... (not even kidding I looked away for like a minute or so cause someone was talking to me then I look back and I am in a box)

I was confused for a little bit but after I figured it out it was nice and honestly? I like the graphics. They have a nice charm to them that I quite enjoy.

It does drop them on death- the problem happens when there are groups of enemies and you kill one then you can't kill the others because the health pack the enemy you killed dropped is tanking your bullets

This is... interesting. Was very much not expecting to see something like this here. It's charming though, I like it. My main problem while playing was the the images weren't loading fast enough and it was flashing while they were trying to load. I am very intrigued by this tbh since I have never seen anything like it

I like this one a lot! The doodle graphics are nice and the gameplay is fun! I couldn't find any obvious issues with it while playing too, so that's always a bonus

Nice! I really liked the concept and it was executed well imo! Besides a bit of lag (most likely just because of web) the only problem I encountered was the player's bullets seem to collide with the health packs that enemies drop causing it to seem like the enemy is VERY tanky... when in reality you haven't even hit them

The artstyle is really nice and the game was fun! The rage mode thing felt really cool and powerful! My only problem was that it felt like the screen was shaking too much and I couldn't see clearly because of it sometimes

Oooh the switch mechanic is really cool! I REALLY like that! My only problem as that it was impossible to see when I was on low hp- there also was barely any indicator that I WAS getting hit besides that (that I noticed while playing at least) I also liked the graphics a lot

Oh wow this is great! The graphics are clean and the music is nice- the concept made me laugh and the chat was really funny. I got to watch an epic battle- 'Huward vs literally the entire green team' (He killed everyone except Magna... may you rest in peace Huward.)

I like this! The graphics feel clean and the music is epic. The gameplay loop is good and stuff too. My only problem was that the control layout feels a little strange but that was fine and just took a minute to get used to

This is interesting! I like the concept- I think the movement feels a bit slide-y (like when you are on ice in games and you lose full control of your character) which makes it a bit difficult to control. Highscore: 26

Nice! I enjoyed this one but did find that it was a bit too easy because I could just spam kill with a single rat and just kept beating things, besides the balancing, this was fun!

Nice concept, I had trouble stopping myself from getting in trouble though, is there a way to avoid it?

definitely is, it is literally just griffpatch's scratch getting over it with no changes (as far as I could tell at least)

which is sad because I actually found the concept interesting

Wow! The concept is cool and the execution is great! I did find a weird glitch where if I rotated the camera and then let the guy walk on it his gravity just kind of...reversed? He just started flying lol

Besides that, everything was great, well done!

This was cool! The mechanic felt clean and the only problem I had was that I would get stuck on the edge of the pressure pad occasionally. Nice job!

Thanks! Yeah the bullet system is my #1 thing that I would rework if I did this again. This experience has exposed me to the fact that I am really bad at balancing so I'll try to get better for the next jam I join!

Thanks! I think that the gifs were just slowed down for some reason (Taking a look at the game page they seem slower there than on my computer? Dunno what that is about) After looking at the actual game, yeah the hitboxes ARE bigger than they were supposed to be, I think I enlarged them slightly by accident, sorry about that!

Oh! I saw this one in the discord but hadn't played it and didn't know if it was submitted! (I didn't know the name of it so when I didn't see a picture of the game as cover art while browsing I was a bit sad) I was really happy to see that it was! This was a lot of fun to play!

Oh wow! I genuinely started playing this ~25 mins ago and didn't even realize how much time had passed until I got a notification on my phone and saw the time! This game is a lot of fun!
