That's awesome to hear
Yeah, I admit I probably rushed the collision geometry at the end there. Will address that soon!

Thanks for the feedback :)

Thanks so much!
Apreciate the kind words, if you had to say something negative whats the most important thing you think needs work or changes? :)

Thanks!
Absolutely, might be one fo the things I'm most bummed about not getting in there before submission

So nice to hear someone got the hang of the matches haha
And thanks, high tension is defs what we were going for, IVe never been too much of a jump scare guy. Yeah, turn speed is something we will address once we get some good testing going.
and a little more guidance on where to go will be next up.

Thanks for playing and leaving feedback!

Yeah there are some collision lines that need to be smoothed out haha
Thanks for playing! :)

Thanks!
Yeah we plan to add a bit more explanation in updates, thanks for the feedback!

Great work!

The narrating storybook is very clever, seems like a mechanic with lots of great uses.

I was a little lost on what my goal was but other than that I enjoyed it.

Well done!

Incredible effort.

One of my absolutes faves so far!

Great puzzle design, fantastic art that was consistant and well implemented sounds.

Great work.

Excellent work!

Was tense and easy to pick up and play.

well done!

Great game!

Incorporates the themes super well.

I really enjoyed figuring out hte mechanics and the sprites and animations are seriously impressive.

Amazing job!

Great job!

I was a little confused on what I was doing down in the dungeon?  I was hitting chunks of metal?

It kept me going till the end and was fun to watch the zombies fall over haha.

Amazing work!

I have never been one to enjoy a dating sim or match making game, but this suprised me!

The dialogue was great, the writing had be laughing out loud a few times and found myself  invested in getting everyone their match! haha

I finished with 85% happiness.

Amazing job!

A wonderful little game!
Great atmosphere

and a fun concept.

Well crafted scene, sound effects well implemented, and the environment was fun to explore.

Well done!

Sorry it doesnt seem to work in its current state, but I loved the art and music I saw! :)

Thanks so much!
Hope you enjoyed!
(Loved your game too btw, I left a comment :D)

Thanks! :)

Thanks so much!
Yeah, its clear from most comments that lighting the matches needs to be made clearer and timer more forgiving.
Making the re-light better and giving more direction tot he player will be our first update.
Thanks for playing and leaving feedback! Appreciate you.

Hell yeah!
Sounds like an ideal playthrough to us!

Thanks so much for playing and leaving feedback.

Thanks for playing!
We would have loved to put in some clearer instructions on how stuff works but ran out of time.
Thanks for the feedback! :)

He thanks you and says you were delicious.

Thanks so much for playing!

Thanks for the feedback!

Any tips for getting through that first level? Im stumped at how to get the boy up there, woudl like to see the other levels!

An evocotive little narrative experience.

The animation and lighting really sell the pain and rage of Grendel.

Loved it!

Very cute little story experience.

Having the story told around a campfire while you act it out is very charming and clever.

I enjoyed it!

Wonderful little game.

the attack animations are particularly great.

Well done!

Great vibes, the art and fog create a great atmosphere.

It took me a loooong time to figure out there was 3d movement XD

The art and animation on the snow fox look especially awesome.

Well done!

Genuinly genius way to interprut the Folklore prompt.

The hack and slash is responsive enough, and fun even on repeat playthroughs.

I can see this game being the start of something truly great.

Amazing work

Amazing effort!

The art, lighting and sounds do an amazing job of setting a creepy atmostphere. I'm shocked at how big the game is for only 1 week!
The set pieces like the cow shed are great scares.

I would say that the items your finding are probably too far apart, and its a bit of a slog to get through so much dark forest between them.

Overall, I loved it!

Great job!

The controls are a bit hard to understand, is it made for 2 people or 1 person to play?

Seems like theres a cool concept here with guiding the 2 characters across the level, but I could make it to the first door. :(

The level, sounds and music are great!

A really fun concept!

I love the idea of replaying teh level, becoming the monster you just fought. Although, the monsters didnt really seem to have much difference between them, it would have been cool for them to attack in a certain way that was consistant between them beign an enemy and as the player character.

The controls were responsive and the hitboxes were consistant.

Great game!

Really great!

A fun representation of a myth I'd never heard before.

The voice acting was great, and even made me chuckle a couple of times.

Great job!

A wonderful concept.

The atmosphere is genuinly creepy and the artwork is great, I love the compass to let you know ehich way your facing.

Unfortunately I found navigating too difficult, even with the light the environment was too dark to tell one screen from another. I think it just needs only a few small tweaks to make that a lot better.

Great work!

A charming little platformer.

The controls were a bit chaotic, a bit too fast for me. But, the obstacles were fun to navigate and the enemies art was great with their little animations.

The position of the camera could use some tweaking, im currently seeing a lot of the level above me and very little below me.

Overall, amazing effort!

Incredible job!

A great level of polish and a fun concept. The idea of choosing your companion and the one you don't choose becomes an enemy is really fun and unique!

Only negative feedback is, in it's current state, I level up so often that with the timer pausing when I level up, reading the 3 cards, it took me about 10 minutes to get through 5 minutes on the timer. It might be worth reducing that 15 minute goal so people are more likely to play to the end.

Amazing work! Loved it!

A wonderful little game.

Movement is responsive and the art direction is so original, every screen had something fun to look at. Genuinly made me chuckle a couple times.

Amazing work!

Super cute idea!

The controls were simple and intuative. Except for making more gnomes, I collected mushrooms but I couldnt figure out what to do with them.

Loved the art and the music.

Incredible polish.

Super cute concept and super smooth execution. Showed great game direction.

The objective was intuative nad the sound effects really sold how everything worked together.

Amazing work.

Love the 'Thesues exploring the labyrinth' theme.  When the minotaur's attacks are working he is genuinly menacing!
I ran around for a good long while and couldn't really figure out what my objective was.

Even without knowing, still had fun running around and trying to escape the minotuar!
