Game Description
Play as one of three fairies and defend your grove from an endless wave of monsters.
How does your game tie into the theme?
You play as a fairy defending your grove from monsters. It was originally going to be inspired by the sidhe from Celtic folklore, fairies known for defending their territory fiercly, but as development went on it strayed from this theme and became more based around general fairies.

I really liked how you could pick a different fairy in the beginning that did something differently as their main attack.
I thought the different kinds of enemies in each wave kept the gameplay fun and engaging. Nice job on this!
Thank you so much!
Great game! The combat feels smooth and fun to play, and the music fits the game nicely. It would be great to have more options for repairing the statue. I managed to reach Wave 20.
Nice work! :)
Thank you! There is a button for repairing the statue on the upgrade screen, but for some reason when I exported the game to HTML the button's texture is no longer visible. It's a little harder to see, but the text for the button is still visible underneath the other upgrade buttons, and the button itself still works. Good job reaching wave 20!
This was a very well-put-together tower defense game, I didn't expect that! Love your selection of sprites (and the tower, kudos to your partner!). The only complaints I have are lack of feedback on hitting/getting hit, and the mouse cursor remaining the default cursor. Other than that this was a beautiful, surprisingly relaxing tower-defense game that made me consider a few things I could have done with my own submission ;) Thanks for making such a fun game to play!
Thank you so much!
In general it works well, the art and animations are beautiful, the music accompanies the theme, although perhaps something a little more "battle" would have been better.
But in general it works well, I managed to reach wave 10 :3
Nice work! :D
Thank you so much! The creators of the art and music assets can be found in the game's credits, they're all super talented!
I like it, but unfortunately I was completely overwhelmed after a few minutes.
Completely understandable, I felt the same sometimes while playing. I really wanted to spend more time balancing but I didn't really have enough time to delve into that, I feel like the waves build up in intensity a little too fast as is. Glad to hear you like it, though!
The pixel art is really pretty, I loved the background and the ennemies sprites ! The game has a good gameplay loop and is fun to play with the upgrades pause to relax a little between fights. The enemies different behaviors is cool too, especially the huge rock monster, I was really surprised ! The only think I didn't understand was what the resilience stat was, it might be good to have some explanation for the stats consequences. Anyway great job !
Thank you so much! The credits section of the game lists all of the amazing artists of the assets used, they're all super talented! I really should have included what resilience does somewhere other than the little tips on the upgrade screen, admittedly, but I ended up forgetting. I'll put it in the game's description real quick. Basically, it reduces the time that you're stunned for after getting hit by an attack.
That's what it does ! Well thank you for answering so quickly !
Short and sweet, you put together a good variety of enemy and enemy styles to make it varied and interessting, and the attack was fun to use
Thank you so much!
I like your game! Reminds me a little of Dome Romantic. I need a minute to understand they don't kill the player but the Queen's grove. Yes I know - reading the text helps. :-)
Thank you! I just checked out Dome Romantik, I can definitely see the similarities. And yeah, I was a little worried that would get confusing lol
That was a fun game! Nice work :)
Thank you so much!
Lots of fun moving, dodging and attacking. Gets you into the loop very nicely and I love the fact that the statue visually degrades as it loses health. Upgrades are a nice touch as well.
Thank you! My partner modified the statue sprite and made the little animations for it, and I think it was a great last-minute addition
Cool game, really got into it, also I see we used the same background, great minds think alike or something
Thank you! It's a stunning background, the artist who made it is fantastic
Cool entry. The theme happens to be very similar to our submission, great minds think alike ;) I liked the dash and I used it to move around but I’d make it so you could dash in diagonal somehow. Also, it may have been cool to be able to switch the fairies while playing to align the game with the transfer takeover wildcard.
Thank you! There was originally an eight-way dash but it felt awkward to use so I made it purely horizontal and increased vertical mobility instead, but it might be a good idea to revisit if I ever want to improve upon this game. Switching fairies mid-game could be interesting to explore too. The art for your game looks amazing btw!
Wonderful little game.
the attack animations are particularly great.
Well done!
Thank you!
It was surprisingly addictive and I played it multiple times over... I hate those fireball-spitting suckers. lol
Great game, well done!
Thank you so much!
Good entry, nice consistent art style, I'm not very good at this type of game but at least for as long as I survived there where plenty of new enemy types to keep it interesting
Thank you so much! Though I didn't make the art, I agree the artists behind the assets are amazing
