This is so cool! Really liked the idea, graphics and controls. We had some pretty similar ideas on the wildcard usage.
To point out a couple issues: at times I had some trouble getting a clear picture of where the Basilisk can petrify me, and the music stopped altogether at some point, probably not looped.
Overall a very solid entry, great job!

That's a very unique puzzle mechanic that I really had fun with.

It might be harder for me to find most puzzle games fun, and even so, I liked yours specifically a lot.

So, really nice job on this game, one of my favorites!

Very cool! Super unique puzzle mechanic, and the lighting effects look really nice. I did have some issues pushing some of the statues around, they seem to get stuck in some places. But I still had a lot of fun solving the puzzles. Nice work and good visual polish.

I like it, couldnt solve level 9 (used the skip lol) but all the others were very interesting, I like the levels were the masked guy had to push the stone around and when you only got 1 human it was just like a stealth game, nice music and art, maybe pushing statues around is a bit hard as it seem to work only if you are at the side but overall very fun to play !

got stuck on level 4 but was nice to push around stone peasants! :))

There's a "Skip" button in the pause menu. Feel free to use it! C:

Awesome puzzle game!
I really like the incentive the get the rats as an extra bonus (although not sure how you get some of them tbh, I think if it wasn't so hard to push some of the statues around sometimes I would have spent longer trying to get them all.
Overall a superb entry into the game jam, well done!

Very well done!  This was just on the edge of feeling like not-a-jam-game, were it not for some bugs(?) in the controls preventing me from, for example, pushing the statues from the bottom or top.  I always had to start pushing them from either the left or right side, and THEN I could start sliding them up or down as needed.  Easy enough to work around, anyway.  A few times I was turned to stone when I didn't think I should have been, but I just summed that up to me not paying close enough attention.

The art direction is just about perfect, though a few elements didn't stand out enough (rats) and the Basilisk itself felt just slightly off in color (too much saturation, maybe?  I'm not an artist :P ).  The BGM had me immediately go "Oh, I like that!", but it did start to get repetitive after 10 minutes or so.  Bound to happen with a single track, though.

To be fair, I'm really reaching for critique here, overall this is one of the best entries I've played.  A solid puzzle game slice, and a fantastic game jam effort.  Congratulations, you made a great game!

Incredible effort.

One of my absolutes faves so far!

Great puzzle design, fantastic art that was consistant and well implemented sounds.

Great work.

I loved the idea, it is very original and really matched the theme!

I'm not a very good puzzle player, so I got stuck sometimes, but discovering the solution was quite rewarding!

The audio and art also fit very well with the mechanics. Congratulations on the submission!

Excellent puzzles with an interesting core mechanic that you have made the most of. My only gripe with the game is that it's hard to push the statues in the direction you want them to move.

Great level design, I liked the difficulty progression and the puzzle concept.

Nice work! :D

Great direction direction, i was to clumsy to finish but had a good time.

Cool game, I liked the music and the sprite work! As mentioned before hitboxes were a little bit janky sometimes but it wasn't a huge issue since restarting a level was so fast.

Great game! Really nifty way of taking the theme and the puzzles are really solid without being too obtuse. I occasionally had minor hitbox issues when pushing statues, but it mainly occurred near doorways (slightly ledge on the doorframe)

Hey pretty neat game and concept very clean! hit boxes sometimes were difficult but overall it was cool.
