My first game comes out June 20th, I am still working on the finishing touches and getting ready to build it for macOS and possibly IOS . Heres the trailer for it

can't wait !!!

(+1)

Thanks! I am working on the macos and ios versions right now. I would like to do an android version but I don't have any devices to test it out on right now

(1 edit)

You can send the link for android testing. I will be happy to help you and let you know if there are any bugs.

(+2)

Cool, that could be very helpful. Right now testing for macos right now is a real pain. Testing and exporting for PC was very easy. It's almost like apple dont want people to make them games.lol

lol.

My first game ever is the one i just posted today. It is called : Debunker.

It is a point and click adventure game prototype that i'm trying to develop in which you play Stan, a TV star who offers 4 millions $ to famous TV Star, to anyone who can prove to him that he has paranormal powers...

https://normanbates31.itch.io/debunker

Debunker

I started to learn how to make a game in unity few months ago, learning everything from scratch... All is made by myself excepted musics (for now). I'm really inspired with Lucas Art adventure Games like Monkey Island or Day of the tentacle, with jokes and enigmas.

It is only a first prototype for now and i'm trying to improve it so i would be so happy to have feedbacks, helps and critics :-)

The first one I ever made isn't even on itch.io, though it is posted here on my website (https://ldgamingexpress.weebly.com/batch-adventure-games.html) as "CALL OF THE WILD". It was an odd text adventure game made in Windows Batch and it first got me into programming as I made games for school projects.

I made my first game long time ago but it wasn't released to public at all. So counting from ones released to public, my first game is Crime Buster. It's hardcore beat'm up inspired by Streets of Rage 2 and Guardians.

This was made when I was a wee young lad. 10/10 game design:

PlanetCombat

My first released game is hard to play now because Flash is dead, but it was a falling block puzzle game with blocks and bubbles called "Oh, Buoy!" in 2007 or 2008 :)

My first game I EVER built I cannot show, but it was written in QBASIC around age 9, and I believe the text display looked something like:

"Please Guess A Number Between 1 and 50: "
And then you'd type something like "27" and the game would say:
"Your Number is Too High. Guess again:"
And then you'd guess like "13" and it would tell you it's too low, until you get the right answer and it would output:
"21 is the correct answer! It took you 4 guesses!"

Sick game right? :)

(+1)

Thanks for sharing!!! 😃

(+2)

Oh, Buoy is an excellent game name.

My first, ond only game, is a NSFW gay game, mix of VN and sandbox. Grizzly Grove. It was my "hello world" project on twine, which grow into this +1 year later.

have made some text adventures before and a bit of really amatuer stuff on commodore computers a long time ago but that was my first attempt at a game using professional standard development software.  in this case Unity.

I made my first game for friend's birthday

It took much more time than i expected for!  In total it's about 800 hours!
For first look game seems very simple for creating, but in underground there are TEN thousand lines of code!

I hope you will try my game and enjoy it! https://fireday2.itch.io/postcard

Only few people played it. I don't know why. Maybe game style or intro, or cover image, or page theme...
For compare: there is a game https://romaniachan.itch.io/haunted-vlogs. Author said it's his first game. And it has 1000+ downloads in less then two weeks. My game has 30 browser plays...
And, despite i am total noob in it, i advertised it! (create topic and twice wrote "in post 1 screenshot of your game" theme)

(+3)

For a first game, this is actually really neat! Lots of little details and bits of polish added to this.

(+2)

It seems to me in general that browser games get fewer plays/downloads than download-only games.

I released my first game today! NUN is a third-person cinematics and dialogue-driven open-world adventure game, with action and RPG elements and a 1970s horror/exploitation/grindhouse aesthetic. In the year 1820, Sister Mary-Martin, a newly-initiated Templar Knight, is sent on a mission to the land of Winchester to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a young nun. Play the demo today at: NUN Steam Page NUN Itch Page

My first ever game is The Magical Cave Adventure. It's about finding a topological sort of a directed acyclic graph, which is a concept that I first learned in MIT 6.042 and I thought it would be a great idea to make into a game.

Bean Game, and what a trip and a half it was to make. https://malicthegreat.itch.io/bean-game

mine was "Time Pass"
